“We had a really relaxing time at Robin Hood Tower. It is perfect for walks along the canal but also close to lots of wonderful Derbyshire countryside. Our host Steve was full of helpful information and pointers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again - in fact we didn’t want to go home! ”

“Started out disappointed as rented the ENTIRE property. This is not the case - you have shared kitchen with CCTV. Finished disappointed as accused of having child and making a racket. They forgot to check when we left and CCTV cameras - we weren’t even there. As for room - when we arrived heating was not going - they promptly got to fix issue. Room was lovely but hair on bed and floor - not ours! Location is very central- so good ”

“What a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. The owners were very quick to reply to any queries that we had and we so helpful...thank you so much. The cottage itself is beautiful, plenty of space but so cosy and with a real fire. The kitchen contains everything you could wish for. Both bedrooms are really comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and has a great shower. We will definitely be returning. ”

“We stayed in the Lavender Cottage for two nights on a weekend away. The cottage is situated at a short distance from the Southwell Minster and village shops. Southwell itself is quite a compact and cute little village. The cottage is really well presented, clean and well equipped. The host, Rebecca, left us a hamper with bread, juice, milk etc. Everything was very clean and tidy. We had two cozy nights in there and the log fire was a great addition to the lovely relaxing feel the cottage has....

“First impressions Cromford Road a very dangerous and noisy road . Several health and safety issues.Scaffolding in the front and rear of property No keys to get out back of house. However on the whole the property met our needs. Lovely bedrooms kitchen ,bathrooms and sitting room . The games room was ideal for my grandchildren.”

“Picked this cottage due to it's proximity to family members and the places we wanted to visit in the White Peak. Apart from being a well maintained, clean and cosy place, we were particularly impressed by the little touches such as the welcome pack of wine and snacks, the amply stocked kitchen and almost everything we would expect at home but not always in a rental property. In short, comfortable, cosy and clean. Excellent!”
