“I have been here a few times now and they have never let me down with either the rooms or the helpfulness of the staff,and this visit was no different ,i nearly missed my breakfast but the lady who was dealing with the breakfast today went above and beyond and sorted me right out with getting me a full english breakfast done ,evrn after the cut off time,many thanks to her”

We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks)
The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here.
Our room only had a fan to keep...
“Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom.
Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc.
Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big. Breakfast did not have all items listed on menu - but didnt twig till after (but have to say lots of pastries and...
