Castelli a Chinon

“Hotel per 2 notti.Ottima location,gestione algida:abbiamo soggiornato 9 notti,tutti si fermano 1/2notti,non ci hanno mai chiesto come va,mai offerto un caffè! Non mettono nemmeno i cuscini sulle sedie di ferro esterne,dove abitualmente si siedono le persone ad aspettare il tramonto. Alle 21,anche prima chiudono tutti gli accessi dell'hotel:quando si rientra,si può andare solo in camera.È la prima volta che ci succede,in altri chateau si ha accesso ai salotti e a tutte le zone comuni. Peccato...

“We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!”

“We (two couples) loved our stay at Gizeux. Stéphanie is a generous host with her time and hospitality. Our stay started perfectly with a home cooked meal and stories about the history of the château. Gizeux is an excellent base to explore the Loire and its magnificent châteaux. At the end of the day it was always very special driving back to our very own! The family is doing an incredible job of preserving the château and it was an absolute privilege to make it our home for a few days.”

“Gregoire was a wonderful host. The Castle was clean, and any small critiques are easily understood by living in a castle from 1520! The bathrooms are modern, the beds very comfortable. There is no Air Conditioning, and the days were very warm! There were fans, though, and the nights cooled down a bit. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you, Gregoire!”

“La struttura offre degli alloggi confortevoli immersi nel verde e divisi in blocchi da 6 alloggi, l'alloggio è diviso in 2 livelli zona giorno e zona note. Pulizia e serietà del personale sono i punti di forza di questa struttura, oltre la posizione al centro della valle della Loira. Appena si arriva ti danno il cambio per i giorni che servono e provvedi a fare tu i letti, con le lenzuola sterilizzate e imbustate... stessa cosa per asciugamani.
