The Rectory Lacock, sistemazione per famiglie nel cuore di Lacock

Trasformato dalle scuderie originali del canonico, Wheeler Cottage è il più piccolo dei nostri due cottage. Ha un tetto a volta nella sala / cucina e una vista sui giardini del canonico. Wheeler Cottage ha una camera doppia con un letto king size e una seconda camera con letti a castello, adatto per i bambini. Il cottage può ospitare quattro persone ed è l'ideale per una coppia, una giovane famiglia o uomini d'affari che lavorano nella zona.

Wheeler Cottage è ben attrezzato con una cucina completamente attrezzata tra cui un fornello elettrico e piano cottura, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e frigorifero. C'è un bagno con doccia sopra la vasca, WC e lavandino. Tutte le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono inclusi. Il cottage ha accesso WIFI e TV e lettore DVD. Un ferro e asse da stiro sono disponibili. C'è un parcheggio in loco disponibile per una macchina per cottage. Nota: per un'auto aggiuntiva, soggetta a disponibilità e pre-concordata in anticipo, è previsto un supplemento da pagare all'arrivo.

Il cottage condivide un'area patio e un giardino con Lenton Cottage.

Il Rectory Lacock è un edificio vittoriano classificato di Grado II costruito nel 1866. Seduto in 6 acri di campagna privata nel Wiltshire, il Rectory è a soli 2 minuti a piedi dal cuore del villaggio medievale medievale di Lacock. Le due case vacanza sono nel parco della canonica dove i nostri ospiti hanno la privacy del proprio patio dedicato e un giardino privato separato, disponibile esclusivamente per gli ospiti del nostro cottage. Ogni cottage ha due camere da letto e tutti i servizi che i nostri ospiti si aspetterebbero di trovare in alloggi self-catering di buona qualità.

Il bellissimo villaggio di Lacock è uno dei preferiti dai produttori cinematografici e televisivi per le sue strade pittoresche e le sue case storiche, tutte incontaminate da moderne modifiche. Il villaggio è stato utilizzato come scenario per Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford e Harry Potter. Di recente, il villaggio è stato utilizzato per le riprese del film finale di Downton Abbey nel settembre 2018.

I cottage sono anche ideali per chi visita la zona, compresi Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury e Longleat.

Lacock - A great stay at the Rectory

Lovely little apartment, very clean and tidy, everything you need for a stay here. Very comfortable bed in main bedroom, not shown on pictures but 2nd bedroom has bunkbeds. Monty the Rectory Dog, is very friendly, pottering around the grounds and eager for a quick fuss. Only 2 little things would have made it absolutely perfect, more coat hangers, only 4 in the double bedroom and a small coffee table in the lounge area so you have a place to put your drink when relaxing at the end of the day.

A lovely stay in a clean, comfortable cottage

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable and perfectly appointed cottage. The owners had really thought of everything we might need and it was wonderful to be so close to the centre of the village.

Lovely rural cottage minutes from Lacock village

We had a great stay in the cottage and enjoyed the surrounding areas. The cottage was well equipped and Helen was a fantastic host. Our toddler really enjoyed the rural location and loved the sheep and bunnies on our doorstep! Lacock is just a few minutes walk away and had great pubs, a village shop and most importantly for us a lovely big play park. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a family stay.

Cosy cottage

Host Helen was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was perfect for a short stay in the area and was very clean. The only downside for me was that the cottage is actually close to a very busy road, and the traffic noise kept me awake. This can of course be remedied with ear plugs.

Jolie petite maison dans un charmant village

Logement charmant, joliment décoré et très propre mais petit. Possibilité d'aller à pied au charmant village de Lacock avec son pub et ses jolies boutiques. Malheureusement très proche de la route, et très bruyant en cette saison.

Very clean and well supplied with utensils and basic needs

We had a wonderful time here. The rental was nice and easy to get to. The village of Lacock was picturesque and there is plenty to do for a whole day within walking distance. The Abbey is a beautiful place and if you like Harry Potter a must to see. The location is ideal for getting to Bath or Oxford. Recommend for anyone traveling from abroad. The owners are wonderful and very helpful, even helped washed the car when I ran through a mud puddle. This is a great place to stay.

Easter Weekend at The Rectory Lacock.

Booked the rectory as a 2 night stay for the Easter period. Was local to Bath which we intended to visit and other local places of interest. We arrived and found the property clean, tidy and the basics were in place such as toilet rolls, coffee, tea, and sugar- even milk was in the fridge to make a nice tea after a 3 half hour journey- most needed. The property consists of 2 bedrooms and one room with bunk beds to enable ample accommodation for 2 boys/girls and spacious double room. The bathroom was spacious and had a choice of bath of shower which was great. The living room/kitchenette was clean and again more than ample for our requirements. The only downside was no dvd player and with 2 boys and poor weather would of come in handy but that is only a minor comment. Helen made the effort to pop and see us on the Saturday and many thanks for checking in to make sure we were happy with everything- Really enjoyed our stay and had the added bonus of a rear door to a tiny garden area to which if the weather was better would of enjoyed. Plenty of parking and although the property adjoins another let property this did not impose noise etc that sometimes can come with this scenario. We commented that we would book again later in the year to enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas and also the fact it is 45 minutes away from Bath and other local highlights. In closing would recommend this as a lovely little property for a long weekend stay to visit the area and found the beds very comfy and the cleanliness was great.
