Una proprietà unica con due scale che danno accesso separato alle camere da letto, interni splendidamente arredati e autentico forno per il pane !. Piano terra:
Soggiorno: con stufa a legna, TV digitale terrestre e lettore CD.
Cucina / sala da pranzo: con cucina elettrica, forno a microonde, frigorifero / congelatore e lavatrice.
Scala 1 a ...
Camera 1: con due letti singoli, travi e soffitto spiovente.
Scala da 2 a ...
Camera 2: con letto matrimoniale, travi e soffitto spiovente.
Bagno: con vasca, doccia e servizi igienici. . Riscaldamento a gas, elettricità, biancheria da letto, asciugamani e combustibile per stufa a legna inclusi. Lettino da viaggio. Giardino maturo con terrazzino e mobili da giardino. Parcheggio privato per 2 auto. Vietato fumare. Nota: sul pavimento della camera da letto matrimoniale è presente una trave rialzata. Questa casa per le vacanze di grado II, situata in una piacevole località del villaggio, confina con la fattoria dei proprietari e presenta interni splendidamente arredati con travi a vista e un autentico forno per il pane. Una base ideale per visitare i Cotswolds. Burford, Stow e Bourton-on-the-Water entro 10 miglia. Stratford, Cheltenham e le guglie dei sogni di Oxford entro 25 miglia. Visita le numerose case famose, i giardini e le deliziose vecchie locande costruite nel pittoresco calcare delle colline del Cotswold. Negozio e pub a 300 metri.

Ci sono travi basse e soffitti inclinati in tutta la struttura. L'altezza della balaustra / balaustra di questa proprietà è inferiore a 1 me gli spazi tra i mandrini sono superiori a 10 cm.

Loved Picket Piece Cottage.

Loved Picket Piece Cottage. Cosy, warm, well equipped. Comfortable beds. Loads of hot water for a bath. We really enjoyed batoning down the hatches for the snowy weekend. We would highly recommend!The directions for locating the house need to be more detailed, and updated.

What a charming and characterful little cottage in a lovely village surrounded by beautiful countryside! There were lots of little thoughtful touches that made us feel very welcome: a topped up sugar bowl, plenty of teabags, a basketful of logs, a bottle of wine, foil in a kitchen drawer. Nice to see a spaghetti western in amongst the DVDs too even though with the stove burning away we didn’t even turn the TV on for the entire four days. Overall, a cosy, homely and restful place to have a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend the trip to neighbouring Shorthampton to see the medieval wall paintings in the church.

The two bedrooms are small and there is limited headroom, access being restricted by low beams. The cottage needed a thorough ‘spring clean’. The small clothes cupboard in the main bedroom was filthy. The curtains upstairs were dirty and full of dust. The chests of drawers needed cleaning. The bread bin was filthy and there was no bottle of wine as promised. The ‘welcome’ pack had insufficient information and needed rewriting. The village itself with its two shops, its pub, its 12th century Church, its splendid views and walks, was lovely.

Fantastic owners and cottage is filled with everything you need(Except Wi Fi). 2 Beds and 2 sofa's for your comfort and all kitchen equipment provided. A very pleasant stay in a unique little cottage that we really enjoyed (two adults and an 18 month old). Chadlington is a very nice village with a good pup, shops and playground within walking distance, and well-positioned for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage has everything we needed for our stay, including (most importantly for our purposes) decent cooking equipment, comfortable beds and a lovely garden. Arrival arrangements were all very straightforward. I have no complaints whatsoever and would thoroughly recommend the cottage to anyone. As a heads up, the bedrooms are on different stairways and neither have doors - so we did a fair bit of creeping around after bed time so we didn't wake our daughter, and the bedrooms let in quite a lot of light even with the curtains drawn. But these are minor things to be aware of.

Picket Piece cottage is very sweet, lovely garden for young ones to run around in & very peaceful. Cottage had everything we needed. Would have preferred a bigger & sturdier bed in double room but not sure if there is space for one! Mummy did not cope well with the large spiders but that's country living for you ;-) The village is fabulous, fantastic pub just down the road, little play park, lovely cafe/shop, deli & butchers and everyone was so friendly. A lovely holiday location, thank you.

The cottage is lovely and well equipped. Sadly though it's let down by its level of cleanliness. There was dust and cobwebs in all the rooms. I used to have a holiday cottage so I know what hard work it is keeping it spotless but if you have a holiday let you have to do it

We have been to the cottage 6 or 7 times. It is always welcoming. Clean and cosy with a great log fire. Handy for Chipping Norton and Oxford for the day. Everything we need is available and the hosts are always welcoming. A great countryside getaway.
