“Nice cabin, comfortable, well equipped. Furnitures are cozy oldies', exactly what you expect in such a lodge, and perfectly working. More technological stuff (heating and wifi) is great. Owners are really kind and helpful. Overall a perfect stop (cost is a bit on the high side, while more or less aligned to NE Alaska' standard) ”

“What a place this is! We absolutely loved our stay at this stunning home in the beautiful McCarthy. We were very lucky to book this gorgeous accommodation, there isn’t a house like it in the area. It’s beautifully decorated, comfy, cosy and very spacious. The views of the mountains from the huge windows are unbeatable. On our first night we saw a momma moose and her baby! Kelly was very kind and helpful and we did a lot of his recommendations. We ate at The Potato and The New Golden Saloon,...

“Wow! This rental is awesome. Everyone was SO impressed and we had so much fun during our time. We got an outstanding aurora show one night and the constant sound of the river was so peaceful. It is a short drive to Valdez if you need anything or just want to explore. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.”

“This place was very cozy. The owner Luann was very knowledgeable about the area. We wanted something not quite in the middle of everything and this was perfect. Explored Wrangell StElias NP quite a bit which was spectacular! Although this is no longer a B&B we knew that when we booked. There were other options in the area still open for the season such as Nummys in Copper Center, which was amazingly good!!!!”
