“I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. “The property is clean and in a good location. It’s old and there is no phone in the room. People are friendly.”

“We were able to find a parking place right in front of the hotel. There weren’t very many places to shop at, probably because it was not the right time of the year. We came during our school spring break. That was April 3 time. I just wish there were more places to eat around the area. Or maybe a breakfast being served downstairs in the barbecue place. It was a cute hotel.”
