This house was wonderful- everything described in the listing and more. We loved the historic fireplace and the outstanding renovations to make the house comfortable. Our favorite part was that it was SO quiet! The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. We wanted to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, and besides the occasional clop clop of an Amish horse & cart this house allowed us to do that beautifully. We enjoyed the hot tub and the proximity to Sight &Sound theaters and local Amish markets.

Beautiful home in the middle of Amish farmland. Clean and inviting. The hot tub was clean and perfect temp on arrival. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet place in the country. The house was clean and the scenery was beautiful. There were some flies in the house but that’s somewhat expected when you stay on a farm in the middle of summer. Only complaint was that the hot tub was not working. Owner notified us of this issue the day before checking in and offered a free cancellation if we chose to opt out but considering we were in the midst of an out of state roadtrip with kids, we didn’t feel like we had adequate time to find another rental.Again, great place to stay. We enjoyed our time there. Only improvement that could’ve been made would have been earlier communication about the hot tub since that is what helped this house stand out from other rental properties in the area when we were looking for houses to stay in.

Perfect getaway weekend in the heart of Amish country

Our family enjoyed this stay for a long weekend! The house is beautiful inside and out— Impeccably clean and a beautiful modern farmhouse decor. We enjoyed the beautiful lawn, the calm porch overlooking the rolling hills and farms and the lovely hot tub and fire pit! Close driving distance to nearby attractions in Lancaster, but off the beaten path! Would definitely return when we come back to the area!

Lovely home and beautiful property

What a wonderful weekend we had here. The home is gorgeous (the plants are amazing!) and the property is beautiful. It's tucked out in the country but an easy drive to Lancaster and local attractions. Perfect hot tub and firepit time! The owners were very communicative and responsive. Loved the wine and coffee! We will definitely be back Highly recommend!
