“Doug, the owner was nothing but PHENOMENAL! Amazing customer service, great communication and very helpful throughout my stay. Pool on the premises, small and cute ( didn’t close ) so open 24 hours. The hotel was clean, the esthetic was beautifullllll and our room had a beautiful view on the ocean. Great experience! ”

“The Buccaneer is a top notch resort with friendly staff, excellent food and drinks, beautiful beaches and golf course. We couldn’t get enough of swimming around in gentle surf of Mermaid Beach. We didn’t want to leave so we extended our checkout for a reasonable fee. We would definitely go back.”

“The location was great being by the little shops and right across the water for a perfect sunset view. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. There was ice available and they provided a few snacks and a couple of waters which was a nice touch. It was a pleasant surprise that they came in and refreshed the towels for the day also.”
