I was very satisfied with the room. The bed and the couch were both comfortable. We were able to find a parking place every night. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. It is in a small neighborhood with no problems.

This property was so adorable, it looks just like the pictures. Don’t miss this little gem!

This place was very clean, it has pretty much everything you need for a getaway. The place was absolutely adorable. Our family will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. The kitchenette was convenient, and the property had everything we needed for a great stay.The only suggestion I would make is to provide laundry detergent/soap for guests using the washer. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would happily stay here again and recommend this property to other travelers.

Relaxing spot to unwind

This had exactly what we needed - a lovely place to relax. Comfy king sized bed, great little kitchen perfect for simple meals and a nice couch to relax on. Would definitely come back!

Excellent stay

My family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, two tvs. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was a short 18 min drive to the beach.

This was an excellent location for visiting our family in SoCal. Perfect for couples with a kitchenette, private patio, and washer dryer. The only criticism is that the shower head is waaaaaaay up high and not adjustable. But that is just me being VERY picky. Bottom line, great location, great hosts.

Great place !! Clean and kept up !

We enjoyed our stay very much ….. the place had all we needed. Only one night the cul de sac had no space for parking so we had to park on the street but that was not a big deal . Very nice ! We would stay there again :)

Chula Vista Stay

Our stay was close to everything we were doing in town. Although parking was crowded, we always seem to find a spot as needed. House was very very clean and accommodated all our needs for a extended weekend. Quiet neighborhood.

Cute, clean and comfortable

Very enjoyable stay, good location for us to be close to family. My only concern was parking - it was street parking and weekdays there were a lot of cars. However, evening and weekends there was more space available. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family.

Cottage Like Suite

The suite is small but feels larger then it is. Well appropriated and beautifully decorated. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood. I want to mention the adorable private patio! Great for breakfast outside!!

Such an adorable place! We came to the area for the NASCAR street race on the naval base and stayed 5 nights. We would definitely stay again. Everything was very clean. A mini bottle of shampoo & body wash that smell great are provided. Bring your own for an extended stay. Stretching out in the huge bed at the end of a long day was wonderful. No problems with communication. The hosts even provided some ideas for bars that might be showing the race on Sunday after we’d decided to sell our tickets for that day. The only issue we had was something the hosts had no control over. A neighbor’s dog barked a lot the first night and woke me up. After that night it was much better.

Lovely suite

As other reviewers have said, this is a new, well set up suite that is super clean in a friendly neighbourhood. We were able to find one spot to park in, right out in front of the house every time we needed one- so no issues with parking for us. Thank you to the hosts!

Very Cute - Would Stay Again

We stayed here for two nights on a recent family vacation to San Diego with our two teenage kids. This is a very cute property, and although small, we were all very comfortable here. It was immaculate and well-equipped, and the host was very friendly and communicative. It's about a 30-min drive to downtown San Diego, but we found it to be a fine location for getting around to everything we wanted to see (we stayed out all day and didn't return until the evenings, anyways). We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Very nice spot. My only negative comment would be that there was no place to park. We had family give us rides so not a big issue but if had a rental car I don’t know what we would have done.

Good for a long weekend

The property looked as described. It is a guest house attached to the main house. We never heard them and felt separate and private. There is only street parking so just be mindful of that. We easily visited points of interest in San Diego and were never more than a 25 min drive. We stayed in Chula Vista to stay close to our friends that were hosting an retirement party and the reason for our trip.

Pleasant place to stay

It was great. My only suggestions to improve: 1. Leave more than one shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. One of each for two adults staying four nights didn’t suffice. 2. The sink needs a stopper to make doing dishes more convenient.

Great base of stay

I worked remotely for most of a week and then visited (medically vulnerable) family, and it was perfectly clean, convenient, and comfortable. At home I drive a very small car, and my rental was an SUV, so I had to adjust for the street parking. The kitchen was rental-adequate--all the basics present minus an oven. Coffee was Keurig-only, which is not my personal preference, but I managed with tea instead. Clean, quiet, comfortable little space. Very responsive owner with all my questions--had there been any issues, I'm sure she would have tackled them efficiently.
