“Good location in Rye and we managed to utilise the hotel parking. However, the building and the bedrooms need some money spent on them, for general maintenance and updating (and fixing the rooms). The single staff member we saw was great but wouldn't hurt for them to have extra help in peak check-in and breakfast times.”

Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?”

“The description says 'secure, on-site parking'. This is a lie. When asking the caretaker of the property, she looked confused, said there is no parking included, but that we could park on the street if we could find a bay. There is a multi-story that you can pay to park in a short walk away. So don't expect secure on site parking. Otherwise, standard issue guest house - thin walls, thin mattresses and run down, but clean and cheap. The code to get back in didnt work which was a pain. The...

Just a bit of hand gel at the bottom of a dispenser. Just things you tend to expect. The pub is well situated, locals very friendly. Lots of things to do in the area.”
