Vacanze Chiesa di Pulverbatch

Friendly staff & good recommendations for eating out. However, no restaurant available as closed (which we were not aware of when booking). Some cobwebs in the room but overall clean.

Albergo poco sicuro, rumoroso e senza ascensore

The property description on Expedia listing was misleading. The description referred to a private bathroom. I am unsure how even loosely the term private bathroom can be used when it’s shared by all guests. Surely this is a shared bathroom. No towels provided either. If this was accurately disclosed we would have never booked at this accommodation. The beds were comfortable and room was warm, breakfast was good but it still remains that we were disappointed with the description and would not stay again.

The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay
