  • East Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage in Church Stretton, set on a lane beneath the Long Mynd.. Ground Floor:

    Living/dining room: Freeview TV, DVD Player, Woodburner

    Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, 2 x Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher

    Utility Room: Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine

    Separate Toilet.

    First Floor:

    Bedroom 1: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Bath, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed front garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. East Cottage is a charming Grade II listed semi-detached cottage in Church Stretton. It has a double room with en-suite bathroom and two twin bedrooms. There is a family shower room, and a ground floor cloakroom. The kitchen has a breakfast area, and the sitting room has a dining area and cosy gas fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a front patio area with a table and six chairs. East Cottage is a wonderful base for families, friends or walkers to enjoy the town and its beautiful surroundings.

    Church Stretton is a pretty market town in the heart of rural south Shropshire. Described as "Little Switzerland", Church Stretton is surrounded by stunning scenery and is the major part of Shropshire’s hill country. The town offers a good selection of pubs, tearooms, and specialist shops, as well as other attractions including fantastic walking opportunities on the Long Mynd; the fascinating Acton Scott Working Farm, and the ancient Stokesay Castle. Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle are all historic local towns with much to offer to visitors, and they are all an easy drive away from Church Stretton, as are the beautiful Welsh Borders. Shops and pubs are located within a 2 minute walk.
