Check in said 11am but was really 3pm, caused me to enter the passcode more time then allowed so had to contact the host how had the code reset. The door locks were particularly frustrating; you had to enter the access code just to lock the door. The living room had a small air conditioner, but it struggled to cool the entire single room. The bedrooms and kitchen remained warm, so I had to sleep on the couch. The kitchen was sparse, lacking essential items like soap, kitchen towels, and multiple sets of plates, cups, glasses, forks, knives, and spoons. If three people were staying there, this could have been a problem. The water pressure in the kitchen was almost nonexistent, making it difficult to access the sink due to a table in between the refrigerator and the sink. The bathroom was okay, but the bedroom closet light was always on. I searched for a switch to turn it off, but none was found. Fortunately, I had slept in the living room due to the A/C challenges, so the light didn’t bother me.I had adjusted my stay dates well in advance, but I was charged the longer stay rate. When attempting to get a refund, it was a hassle. I called VRBO, who informed me that it was the host’s issue and that I should contact them directly. I did so, I went back and forth with them a few times, and eventually, the host refunded me the money. The place was small, located in an out-of-the-way area, and very old. It clearly needed some proper updates.
