2/10 Terribile

Non mi è piaciuto: Pulizia, check-in, comunicazione, posizione e accuratezza dell’annuncio
All urban, no retreat. We literally left this property. The house is located in a neighborhood with “higher than national average” crime rates. The house is cooled with window units, which the posting & pictures do not show The pictures clearly show the windows without units. Considering the high crime in the area, the window units should be caged in. But they aren’t, which means it would be incredibly easy to break into this home. As 3 women traveling together, we did not feel safe. The house had clearly been cleaned, but not well. The refrigerator handles were smeared with something sticky, the front carpet had visible debris on it, and the flat sheets for all 3 beds were crumpled up in a closet. The host informed me I could put them on the beds myself. I guess they only half way make the beds. The coffee bar in the kitchen was literally falling off the wall, and the front porch had bees. And you have to go through one bedroom to get to another one, Not much privacy at this “retreat.” On the same block is a boarded up house, and 2 doors down was a port a potty. Not my idea of a retreat. Maybe this area is undergoing revitalization, but it’s not there yet. I asked the host to refund one night of our 2 night stay, thinking that would be a good compromise. I honestly felt deceived by the photo and listing not disclosing the window units. The host refused. Zero out of ten; would not recommend. Huge disappointment.
