Escape to The Cartridge House, a historic century home in Kings Mills, OH, perfect for large groups. Comfortably sleeping up to 16 guests, this fully updated retreat features a huge dining table for shared meals, a fully fenced yard with a fire pit, and modern amenities. It's an ideal base for family reunions or group getaways, blending unique history with contemporary comfort and style.
This fully updated home blends its unique past with modern comfort, creating the perfect retreat for your next group getaway.

Our home comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests across four large bedrooms, making it ideal for friends and family.

KEY FEATURES:
* Open-plan kitchen and dining room with a custom-made 12-foot dinner table.
* Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops, and a coffee station.
* Cozy living room with a large sectional sofa, wall-mounted TV, and an electric fireplace.
* Private, fully fenced backyard with a spacious deck, BBQ grill, and a stone fire pit.
* Welcoming front porch with rocking chairs.
* In-home washer and dryer.
* Family-friendly amenities: crib, high chair, and toys available.

BED & BATH CONFIGURATION:
All four spacious bedrooms are located on the second floor, each furnished with a dresser, side tables, and a closet.
* Bedroom 1: King Bed
* Bedroom 2: King Bed
* Bedroom 3: Two Queen Beds
* Bedroom 4: Three Twin Bunk Beds (6 twins total)
* Two additional twin pop-up beds are also available.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Both full, modern bathrooms are located on the first floor. There are no bathrooms on the second floor where the bedrooms are located.

Owner was excellent with communication and we arrived during a snowstorm and the owner shoveled the walkway and put down salt multiple times to ensure our safety. Property was beautiful and clean. Owner stayed in touch leading up to our stay and during our stay. Highly recommend this property and owner!

Marcy was a great host from the moment we booked. Great and responsive for all our questions. We were in town with a group of college friends for a book release party and there was plenty of space for everyone to park and sleep comfortably. Would absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Cincinnati. Very close to Kings Island and stores and restaurants are about a 5 minute drive.

If you are interested in Kings Island or the Little Miami Bike trail or the many other area attractions, then the Cartridge House is a perfect place to stay for your home base. Our family of 10 had a wonderful time. The Cartridge House was comfortable, clean and easy to get to. Communication with Marcy was excellent. I particularly liked the water pressure in the shower. One thing to consider: The steps leading to the bedrooms is rather steep and the headroom (without having to duck) is about 5'8". The two bathrooms are on the main level. This isn't necessarily a problem but some renters may find that as useful information. All in all, a great place. Everyone had a wonderful time.

House amazing, with very thoughtful amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Spacious and clean. Host quick to respond. No issues during stay. Only minor issue for us was bathrooms were all on main floor and bedrooms upstairs. If anyone with knee problems and who needs a bathrom at night, it was an issue. No fault on host, just an FYI. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Kings Island Fun!!

Great stay very close to KI. Large rooms for kids and adults to game or watch movies. Ball diamond right across the street to practice in downtime. Nice showers, kitchen and large table so we can all sit together for meals. Best part is just a few minutes from KI for quick back and forth for little kid naps and breaks. We would stay again!! Only downside is narrow parking but not a game changer!

Amazing Stay!

The house was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Lots of space, extra beds/pillows/linens. The bedrooms were very roomy. Everything you need or want and everything you didn’t know you needed or wanted were available in this home. Marcy responded within minutes if we had any questions. Would highly recommend staying here if you have a big or small group.

A nice place

We overall enjoyed this. Not a 5 but not a 4 either. I’d say 4.5. Bedrooms are all upstairs and bathrooms are downstairs with a very steep set of stairs in between.

Work event in Mason, Ohio

The cartridge house in Mason, Ohio, had plenty of room for a work event. It was close to many locations, including Kings Island. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was fully supplied, and two full bathrooms were on the main floor. There is not a bathroom on the second floor. It was very clean, and the description is accurate.

Great family Thanksgiving home!

This was the perfect property for our family Thanksgiving meal. The table was large enough to seat everyone so we didn’t have to split up, and it was great for games after dinner. The host was very responsive and excellent to work with. We loved everything about our stay!

Perfect for the family

The house was great. Very clean and everything you need for a large group was provided. It worked well for us and the dogs. The bedrooms are all upstairs with no bathroom, for someone older it may be difficult, but for us it was fine.
