“Excelled my expectations, initally from outside it appeared dull looking in my opinion, but once inside it was very clean and bright, our room was exceptionally clean with a bright welcoming decor, big comfy bed, spotless bathroom and powerfull shower and huge car park at rear, although we had parked at the front as wasnt aware of the rear one....lovely breafast in the morning and very reasonably priced. Possibly back in the area in June and wont hesitate to book here if theres availability.”

“Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in...

“It was my 1st ever time staying at a Britannia hotel and I felt I didn't get value for money from what I'd paid to stay overnight because breakfast buffet wasn't included, which was disappointing. However, I felt I got a decent price for a very spacious double room with a nice view of Coventry city centre and I'd definitely consider staying at a Britannia hotel again if breakfast was included in the price instead of being quoted £24 to have breakfast added to the cost of staying overnight”

“Poor experience No room service No way to contact reception from room. Phone lines are dead Builder work going on causing loads of noise. Toilet leaking Mattress very uncomfortable and you can count the spring touching your back. ”

“There’s good and not quite as good aspects..Lovely sized room and bathroom with fantastic outlook, but smelt a bit damp almost like wet carpet that hadn’t dried properly. Very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, but a sensor turns on the lights so in the middle of the night if you visit the bathroom the whole bathroom lights up like a summers day. Bed really comfy and unusually firm pillows, perfect for me. And Alexa in the bedroom is a nice touch. Really peaceful (until the geese start 😁)...

“Bed and bedding comfy with 2 choices of pillows. Good hot water and pressure. Only draw back was the reverse cycle was not controllable due to not having a down button. Temp stays on 25 or you could put it up not down. Had a standing fan fan which we had on all night and heating off. Too cold for windows open. ”
