“Beautiful location set back in large park; rooms are in a purpose-built annexe behind pub, so no pass through noise (although pub was generally quiet and very nice, especially the garden); easy parking; short drive to Hepworth Museum; breakfast was delicious; friendly and efficient welcome. Great option for those looking to break up journey between London and Scotland, or just visiting the area.”

“The room was clean & the kitchen was good for a short stay.Must say the property is very well located. The staff is excellent & they stored my luggage for a couple of hours,after check out,free of cost.Many thanks for that! However,I found the stairs extremely dirty and that was a put off!”

“Hotel is a great price and is a little tired but comfortable and you have what you need for a stop over. Unfortunately chef took ill so couldn’t eat there but menu looked good. Instead they recommended the Dam Inn which was amazing food!”

“Hotel bellissimo. Siamo arrivate con il treno ed è vicinissimo, ma la zona ci é sembrata curata e sicura. Persino la sera del concerto siamo rientrate tranquillamente. Le camere bellissime. Spaziose, pulite e arredate con ottimo gusto. Non potrei desiderare di più. Lo scalone centrale, per salire al piano era bellissimo e ce ne siamo innamorate, tanto che ho mai voluto prendere l’ascensore. Tornerei subito , anche perché il prezzo era ottimo.”
