“Stayed here the night before a wedding at Penha Longa — the place was super clean, spacious, and even nicer than we expected. The bathroom was great, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the pool had amazing views. Not walkable, so you’ll need a car or Uber, but it’s peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.”

Punti negativi: lo staff anche se in Portogallo non parla portoghese e nemmeno ci prova, disservizio totale, lentezza del personale, mancanza di lettini in piscina, prezzi degli extra esorbitanti. “In Cascais, this is perfectly located. 5 mins walk to the city center for all the restaurants and shops but just around the corner where this is private and quiet. Also had to beat is that this sits across a park on one side, and then a walled fortress in front where the area has been converted to contain some specialty shops within a plaza. The staff are great, the area safe, and the breakfast and pastries were a delight!”

Viste le temperature dell'acqua la piscina è utile.Peccato per il passaggio del treno che comuqnue con la finestra aperta si sente anche di notte invece di farsi cullare dalle onde. Personale cortese e disponibile dal front desk alla sala, per passare al personale delle pulizie. Da provare il ristorante dell'albergo ma dovete avere un pò di pazienza se non ci sno due ragazzi davvero bravi il servizio lascai un pò a desiderare...

“We had a fantastic week’s holiday in Sintra. The hotel was perfectly located for a stroll into town and easy access the great restaurants, cafes and the sights of Sintra. Brill ice cream from Mica’s just outside the hotel. Easy train ride to Lisbon and the beach for day trips.
The staff were very helpful and excellent service in particular Joao. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast full of choice everyday ready for hikes and touring about. ”

"Buona struttura. Comoda, attaccata al centro storico e con parcheggio a pagamento (15€); per accedervi conviene contattare l’hotel cosicché vi possano mandare un qr code per accedere al centro storico. Ci sono dei parcheggi anche davanti all’hotel ma sono pochi.
Colazione buona e varia, in stile NH.
Camera grande e spaziosa (suite) con due stanze, di cui una matrimoniale e l’altra salottino, adibita a cameretta con divano letto e un letto pieghevole (un po’ vecchiotto).
Bagno con lavandino a ciotola non comodissimo, ma per una notte va bene.
La camera era in parquet.
Bella sorpresa aperitivo di benvenuto con piatto di salumi e formaggi…c’era anche una bottiglia di vino, ma non l’abbiamo aperta e non sappiamo se faceva parte del benvenuto; graditissima l’acqua (5 bottiglie complessivamente per 4 persone).
Presente anche il ristorante, parrucchiere e palestra ma sono servizi di cui non abbiamo usufruito.
