“The property is amazing. The restaurant needs improvement in terms of variety and quality of pastries, especially. Breakfast was just fine. Extra services are in my opinion, over priced.”

“You cannot have more than this. Excellent position, quiet, large rooms well equipped, with lovely forniture, rooms are resetted twice a day. Cuisine is fantastic, menu change everyday with International and local dishes. It is a wonderful place where staying in Zanzibar.”

“The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you.”

“Overall bad experience since check in, we had to come back to reception 3 times before getting everything properly, such as wifi card, towels, safe key. At least they allowed us with an early check in. Do not book all inclusive formula since it's a cheat. Even tanzania beer such as serengeti or kilimanjaro are not included, they just serve another beer included. In the room you will find 2 little bottles of water (200ml each).
