The house sits two blocks from downtown, which means you can park once and leave the car alone. This is a street of older homes just off the main route, so you will hear some traffic during the day. It quiets down in the evening, and the porch is where you will want to be.

Clarksdale is a small Delta town, so plan around it. Some places keep irregular hours and Sunday is quiet. Walmart is the reliable stop for groceries. The crossroads of Highways 61 and 49 is five minutes by car.
