“This hotel could be a 5 star if: 1. They got rid of the low boy toilets 2. They got a better toilet paper - it is truly paper, bring your own 3. They had handheld shower head 4. They had better coffee in the room and in the breakfast area”

“It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.”

“My husband and I stayed at Chautauqua with our 4 and 1 year old. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was very good, and the close walk to the beach and pool made our stay so fun. The only minor issue I had was our room was not as clean as it could have been. My son’s hands and feet were very dirty from crawling on the floor. “Large room”

“We had a nice room looking out over the Columbia River, which is pretty much right out the back door of the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We’d stay there again.”

“The staff was super helpful, considering one bed was broke, ( they knew it and rented the room anyway) and the door locks wouldn't work. Someone did come very fast to get a key from the office to let us in at 8pm. Unfortunately they couldn't get in the office (same lock issue) and a 2nd person came with a key to the office to get us a key to the room. NOTE. keyless entry may not work well with a west facing door on a HOT evening.”

“Easy access to the Riverwalk. I would call my room adequate for me. If you’re wanting a room to chill and unwind and feel cozy, that’s not going to happen. A dog barking a couple rooms away annoyed me for hours. Only two pillows and they were less than adequate. Not a lot of room to move around. No small table. Lighting fair. No issues with the tv. There is WiFi, but I didn’t use it. Bathroom shower area adequate. Probably not for the female travelers. I would definitely think twice before...

“This hotel is so cool and it’s in a great location. There were earl plugs in the room , in case the sea lions were loud and we were lucky, we didn’t have to use them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very unique. The free champagne was a nice way to start our vacation. The outside saunas are neat and the deck is a great place to relax. Being from Florida , I’m used to air conditioning everywhere, so not having it was scary at first but the weather was perfect during the end of June.”

“Abbiamo trascorso due notti all'Atomic Hotel di Astoria e ci siamo trovati benissimo. L'hotel offre un ampio parcheggio, molto comodo per chi arriva in auto, e si trova vicino a diversi posti dove mangiare, il che rende tutto ancora più pratico. La posizione è perfetta sia per esplorare Astoria che per visitare i luoghi iconici dove sono stati girati famosi film, come I Goonies. Consiglio l'Atomic Hotel a chiunque voglia scoprire queste zone: è un'ottima base per vivere al meglio...

“Horrible!! We ended up stranded in Astoria on one of the busiest weekends on the coast. We went to check in and instead of calling us about the denied credit card, they gave our room away. When we checked in, all rooms were taken”

“Excellent staff. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast not run well. I know they were full, but didn’t replenish food items and even by 8 am only waffles and cereal were left”

“They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...
