Altenauer Kaffeehaus: The cozy group house in the heart of Altenau!

Welcome to the Altenauer Kaffeehaus. Our group house features 5 bedrooms, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 office with a sofa bed, 1 game and foosball room, as well as 3 full bathrooms and 1 restroom.

A small terrace is directly adjacent to the living room. The garden offers plenty of space and is available for use. The house also has a large bike shed that guests are welcome to use.

If needed, we offer a laundry service (bed linens + 2 towels). We also offer the option to book the garden and barbecue hut (“Brockenstube”). Please let us know if you’d like to do so. The guest fee will be billed on-site individually per travel group.

Altenau and the Harz Mountains offer a wide variety of recreational activities. Cycling, hiking, and motorcycling are just a few examples. Numerous brochures are available at the accommodation. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a Nahkauf supermarket, a bakery, a butcher shop, a pharmacy, and various restaurants. The Sauna-Therme in Altenau also offers opportunities to relax, even on a rainy day.
