The house was very nicely set up and very clean and comfortable.We were only about 30 minutes away from where we were celebrating Thanksgiving, and the drive was easy with beautiful scenery!

Absolutely beautiful and well equipped home! Great location on a quiet channel in the keys. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and out.

Lake Life

The Clearlake’s Oaks area is old, tired looking neighborhood with signs of poverty, substance use, dilapidated homes, overgrown/dry gardens and abundance of feral cats. There is nothing to do or see around here.The back of the home does overlooks a finger of Clear Lake. The title is misleads us by calling itself “Waterfront Luxury”. The main outdoor umbrella is broken, Plastic dining table, old dishware, mismatched coffee mugs, wine glasses and sacristy of plastic outdoor glasses. It lacks a 2nd hair dryer in the 2 level home, minimal toilet paper and not having body wash or soap. The owner was unconcerned about the issues. Drawers have clothing.The best thing about the home is a modern deck overlooking the water. There is a boat dock sans boat or water toys. It would have been so much better if there was a kayak or some inflatable water toys available. There was no one on the lake and we spent inordinate amount of time trying to figure out if we could swim in the lake. Eventually, on day 3, we drove to Big 5 and bought some water toys. We did get into the water on our second last day (it was the best day).The house is actually 3 bedrooms and 4th walk-in closet with a bed. Upstairs bathroom is a jack and Jill, shared between the 2bedrooms. There are insects called Midges everywhere and there was evidence of dead insects at each door and window inside and outside. Tons of these Midges love to hangout on the screen doors and windows and come into the house uninvited.

A lot of ducks and Geese’s abound. Unfortunately, they sleep on decks and leave presents behind.

Water temp is great, however, water is very murky and has a distinct smell.

Across the waterway neighbour. Best kept backyard on this particular finger.

Great place in a great location

A few friends and myself wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We booked this as it accommodated all of us comfortable. The house was super nice and beautiful. Very clean. And the host, Angelica was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Will definitely look into booking this place again in the future.

Nice clean 2 story

Property was nice and clean. Parking with a boat trailer is not available except on the street and luckily the houses on each side appeared abandoned as we had to block the neighbors driveway to park the boat. The back deck was very enjoyable in the evenings and for morning coffee. Neighbor across the way was very pleasant and thanked us for being "normal". My only concern is every room has some type of Google device and it felt as if we were being listened to. I understand the camera on the front door and the portable one in the kitchen that can be put away, several on the back doors, just made us feel "spied on". Maybe innocent, but overall, nice house. 3 bathrooms was nice, especially with a guys fishing trip.

Very nice deck terrible water conditions

We were a little disappointed with the water conditions in the canal. The pics show nice water off the dock. It should be noted that when water levels are low, that the water off the dock is a swamp. Dead fish everywhere and smelly. I have a 40 thousand dollar boat and hit a rock from the low water in the channel accessing the private dock. Thousand dollar repair. Not the owners fault directly, but again, this should be noted in the listing for those who plan to bring a boat and want to have their children swim off the dock (which i informed the owner of in my booking request). The neighbors across the canal were very rude and made it clear that they do not want vacationers in "their" neighborhood. We were very low key, and they found any reason to have a problem with us. Even yelled and my 8 y/o son when i wasnt out there. The house itself is very nice, was quite clean and had great amenities. The rear deck is amazing and actually inspired us to make cbanges at our own home. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't mind the 10 min no wake trip in swampy water to get to swimable water. If you have a boat, tripple check water levels b4 your 100% refund option is past. Maby even call a local bait shop and ask about water conditions b4 heading out. If i go back to clearlake, i will defenatly be staying somewhere towards the northers large body of water.

Great area of the lake

Great renter! responded quickly to any questions we had and was very easy to deal with. Great location in the Clear Lake Oak keys. Dock was great and the deck was awesome. Deck is much larger than the pictures show. We will be back.

Clearlake Oaks house in the Keys.

Great house in the keys with a nice boat dock. Amazing deck with lots of comfy furniture. Comfortable for up to 6 people. Not a lot of parking but otherwise a great house!

Wonderful

We are outdoor people and the deck on this property did not disappoint us! It was wonderful, a lot of seating, a dinning table for eating and card playing. You can view the vine yards from this deck. Great location. We had a small issue (due to our own fault) and the property manager/ contact reacted quickly to resolve our problem. We would stay there again.

Gorgeous home with huge deck

Our family loved staying here. The house is lovely and spacious with a well stocked kitchen and baths. It was very clean with tons of extra towels. There is a huge patio that's bigger than the pics show and a boat dock. The host is kind and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend it.

lovely home with awesome deck

My family of five had a very nice stay. The house has plenty of room and is appealingly decorated, and the air conditioning was a huge plus at times given the summer heat. The deck is the high point - a wonderful setting for reading and hanging out. We grilled and dined al fresco after dark with candles (and really appreciated the tabletop bug repellant torches - very effective!). The water itself is kind of brackish (and the neighbor's dock unappealing), but the deck is so large you don't really notice either while you are outside. Access to the home's dock and area's waterways would be a real asset if you brought or rented a boat for your stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment and tableware, as well as some spices, oils, and other essentials you tend to forget about when you're away from your own home. Towels were plentiful and in great shape (as were the linens).

Nice house with great view

Deck was perfect to enjoy at night the husband was fishing all day and night actually caught like seven we did have an issue with water not running for a couple of hours but the problem fixed it’s self however all in all the experience was great
