The property was beautifully situated and we loved the outdoor space. Our hosts were friendly and attentive. The only issue we had was that the bed was far too soft. Personal preference I know otherwise 10/10 Liked the home cooked food too

Sehr schöne Blockhütte zur Übernachtung. Frühstück war ausreichend und super. Leider waren hier die Mücken so extrem, dass man es fast nicht ausgehalten hat. Leider waren die Mücken auch im Zimmer, so dass man immer nur nach den Mücken geschlagen hat und nicht zur Ruhe gekommen ist. Selbst die Moskitonnetze über dem Bett haben nur teilweise geholfen.

We are sorry for the mosquitos. Your visit was during a very rainy time and there were lots! We do our best and provide mosquito coils, window screens and bed nets. We recommend our guests not leave the front door open so the mosquitos can not get, this works for most guests and they have a good sleep. The nets are there in case a few sneak in as you go in and out. We are glad the other aspects of your stay were pleasant. Thank you

Thank you for your review. Our meals are lovingly homemade with fresh ingredients. Our prices are fair, include 2 courses with fresh bread and are a very good value. The closest restaurants are 25 minutes away and a beautiful drive if you prefer to eat in town.

This place is a gem! The Alder cabin which we stayed in was super cozy and had everything we needed. Was also decorated beautifully! We ordered salmon for dinner which came with veggies and soup. And OMG! All were so delicious! Breakfast was included in the reservation and was also very good. There is a small lake in the property and there were kayaks which we used and enjoyed! The scenery is gorgeous. Also like 30 min drive from Helmcken falls. We were lucky to see a black bear on our drive there too. Highly recommend this place and will be back!

The Trout Creek Road was full of potholes . The cabin was very cold when we arrived, Even with an extra 1 Kw space heater ,which was provided after asking , it still took many hours to get warm enough

Hi James. We are sorry the cabin was cool on arrival. We open all the windows when cleaning and had only just finished and put on the heat when you arrived. We did let you check in 4 hours early, had you arrived at the regular time the cabin would have been warm by then. We can't do much about the road conditions, especially this time of year as we are at the mercy of the ministry of transportation to start sending out the fall road crews. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again.

We really enjoyed the experience of staying in a cabin in the woods. The owners were great and it was very clean. Breakfast was included and wonderful.

What an escape! We really enjoyed the peacefulness and rocking in our chairs on the front porch! The hospitality was excellent, dinner was fantastic and the hummingbirds were in abundance.

Relaxing Stay with Opportunity to Explore
We had a wonderful cabin stay on the Wolfwood property and are so glad we booked! The staff are just lovely and so very helpful. The grounds are beautifully kept with a small lake to wander and relax by, with a canoe and kayaks available for guest use. We had a lovely homemade dinner on the Sunday night and were visited by hummingbirds as we relaxed on the rocking chairs by the front door. Located within the Wells Gray Park, the waterfalls and trails were easily accessible. What a great location!

Amazing service and food!
We had finished our first leg of the trip a day early, and had hoped to get in one day earlier. We totally appreciated the concession, and also got the dinner that came with the place. It was an amazing dinner, we felt super relaxed. The property was comfy, and homey. It's a great place to stop by. Thanks for your hospitality, we surely will be back! Highly recommend for your travels!

Die Ranch liegt unmittelbar am Parkeingang und kann von uns nur Empfohlen werden. Die Hütten sind sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtete. Die gesamte Anlage, welche auch einen eignen See zum Kanu fahren beinhaltet, ist sehr gepflegt. Auf der Ranch leben u.a. Katzen, Hühner, Hunde, Enten und Alpakas. Das beste an der Unterkunft sind die Eigentümer, sie sind sehr liebevoll, hilfsbereit und unterstützten bei der Tourenplanung, auch in deutsch. Das Essen, Frühstück und das optionale Abendessen ist aus unser Sicht ein muss, es ist so lecker, wie bei Mutti. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Het was echt genieten daar. Midden in de natuur. Je moest 3 km rijden over een onverharde weg voordat je bij de plaats van bestemming komt. Het is net een huiskamer gevoel. Je kunt daar ‘s avonds ook gebruik maken van het diner. Kost wel 40 dollar. Maar dat is het zeker waard. Je zit dan met onbekende aan tafel. Wij vonden dat erg leuk. ‘S morgens het ontbijt was ook supergoed. Nogmaals, het was echt genieten.

This is such a lovely place to stay. The cabin was comfortable. The ladies were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.I wish I could have stayed longer.

Très agréable
Très agréable endroit avec une famille qui est au petit soin avec ses guests. Seulement 4 chalets donc cela reste très convivial. Les chalets sont très bien aménagés. Petit déjeuner préparé avec amour. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Wonderful place to stay
Wildwood Ranch was so much more than we expected. The cabin we stayed in was absolutely lovely down to the antique furniture and original beams. They had kayaks for us to use, an axe throwing area set up, various animals on the property such as alpacas, chickens, cows etc. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and everything was fresh from their own garden. We would gladly stay here again.

Amazing
Our 2nd visit and most certainly won’t be the last. We had such an amazing couple of nights at Wolfwood. The location and accommodation is just incredible and the hosts are always so welcoming along with their dogs ...the even made sure we had the same lodge we’d had previously.

The whole set up is just amazing we loved our log cabin our hosts were so friendly and obliging the food is great dinner excellent. Such a beautiful setting a get away from it all location we loved it.

A home away from home.
Fantastic spot in Wells Gray Provincial park, absolute recommendable. It's owned by a family and they're going above and beyond to make their guests happy. The cabins are comfortable and have everything you need for a few nights. We were sorry that we only stayed one night as the surroundings are beautiful and the guest ranch was fantastic, really a home away from home!

What a find!! I am so pleased we came across this gem. Best breakfast and such charming cabins. This is the rustic experience - the family have made it so homely and comfortable. They are so friendly and beyond kind. They went out of thee way to show us things on their land and talk so passionately about where they live and the animals they see. I would go back in a heartbeat. I just wish we had given this place more time than just one night.
