Located on the 2nd floor of an authentic Auvergne building in lava stone and Volvic stone, this very pretty duplex of about 30m2 has been completely renovated and decorated with care to offer a warm and comfortable setting. The separate bedroom part upstairs has sloping ceilings.

Only 450 m from the Place de Jaude (about 7 minutes walk), you will enjoy an ideal location in the city center.

The apartment is ideally designed for 2 people but it is possible to accommodate 1 to 2 additional people using the sofa bed (linen and dishes provided) separate from the bedroom. It is a "rapido" sofa bed with 140cm x 190cm sleeping, with slatted base and a relatively thick and comfortable mattress.

The accommodation has a Queen Size bed 160cm x 200cm, and everything you need for a pleasant stay.

We have chosen bedding that corresponds to a large majority of travellers, namely with a soft welcome and good support. The bed is suitable for tall people, although the mezzanine bedroom has sloping ceilings.

In the summer, you can enjoy air conditioning and you will also have a fan.

Parking:

We do not have a private parking space, but parking is relatively easy in the surrounding public space, depending on your arrival times. Here are some options:

• Stop-and-go 30 metres from the building, convenient for dropping off your luggage.

• Free parking from Rue Paul Diomède, Rue des Portes d'Argent and the neighbouring streets, about 400 m from the accommodation.

• Long-term parking in front of the football field (350 m away, or 5 minutes on foot): €1.40/day (10-hour formula, rechargeable via the Presto Park mobile application). There are more spaces available in this parking lot outside office working hours.

• Free parking in front of the building from 7 pm to 9 am, as well as on Sundays and public holidays.

• Underground parking lot at the Saint-Pierre market (entrance on Place Gaillard, 200 m away), with 24-hour passes and space for two-wheelers.PGJyPg

Public transportation is free on Saturdays and Sundays, a great opportunity to discover the city without stress

Due to the configuration of the building and the apartment, you will not be able to store bicycles.

The entire building, the common areas and the exterior entrance, are under video surveillance.

We are waiting for you at a time that suits you between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

We are often on site and like to welcome guests: if our respective schedules allow it, we take great pleasure in getting to know each other better and discussing with you the many things to do and see in the area.

The accommodations are ideally located in the city center of Clermont-Ferrand, offering you easy access to all shops, restaurants, tourist sites and public transportation. Like any lively downtown, this location may be accompanied by a bit of ambient noise, especially during summer evenings or long weekends. This will depend on your sensitivity to noise: travellers who are used to the urban atmosphere will feel completely at ease. For more comfort, the apartment is equipped with double glazing to limit noise pollution.

Access to the apartment is via a traditional nineteenth-century spiral staircase, built of Volvic stone, typical of local architecture. However, this charming element may present difficulties for people with reduced mobility or who have difficulty getting around.

Due to the configuration of the building and the apartment, you will not be able to store bicycles.

We only do short-term rentals, and we do not take reservations for more than 10 nights.
