  • 1 Bedroom – Sleeps 2. This beautifully presented studio apartment is centrally located in Clifden town, offering wonderful views of Clifden bay and the surrounding countryside. The apartment is ideal for couples seeking a Connemara getaway. Clifden is a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara and offers a perfect base when exploring the region, while still being located close to all services, shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The apartment is situated within 50m of the town square, which is surrounded by a mix of bars, restaurants, shops, and services. The south facing balcony at the rear of the apartment overlooks the inner harbour of Clifden bay and offers a wonderful space to relax after a busy day. Clifden is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, and you are a just a short drive from a selection of beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding. There are many beaches dotted along the coastline and some of the more popular beaches can be found at Cleggan, Claddaghduff, Renvyle, Ballyconneely, and Roundstone. There are many walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Connemara Greenway, Derrigimlagh Loop walk, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more. Festivals of note in Clifden town are Clifden Arts Festival, The Connemara Pony Festival, Clifden Traditional Music Festival, and many more throughout the year.


    Facilities:
    1 Bedroom – Sleeps 2. This is a beautifully furnished studio apartment with views over Clifden bay. Access to the building is at street level, followed by descending stairs to the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, you are met with a modern and bright open space with modern décor and good-quality furnishings and fittings throughout.
    The accommodation is all on one level and compromises of a combined kitchen, dining and lounge area, and a bedroom and bathroom area which is screened from the living area. The lounge area opens onto a decked area via sliding doors, which offers outdoor furniture and overlooks the inner harbour of Clifden Bay. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences including, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer. The lounge area is furnished with a comfortable seating, coffee table, and TV. The dining table seats 4 persons and is located adjacent to the kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and ample storage for clothing and belongings. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and includes WC, sink, shower and heated towel rail. This property is not suitable for children and there is no capacity for additional beds or cots.
    The property is electrically heated throughout. Wi-Fi included. Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity and heating are included in the rental price from May to September with a supplement of €10 per night being charged from October to April. Smoking is not allowed. Pets by request only. Short breaks are available. A free public car parking is located nearby (200m) or paid on-street parking is available from 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday. On street parking free at other times.
    A security deposit of €150 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

Great cosy apartment for an Irish experience in Connemara. It was the perfect place for a winter trip. Pubs and restaurants are accross the street and all the touristic places are at 20/30 min. Ideal for a couple.

Lovely little apartment with a great view over the bay. Perfectly situated in the centre of town but extremely quiet! Kitchen was fully stocked and we appreciated the little treats the hosts had left us! No issues during our stay. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking. Howeve we would stay there again.

A beautiful Winter Stay in late December

Being dedicated to walking the land (following the footpath of cartographer and writer Tim Robinson), it was a perfect location to stay and start from. Clifden town is so lively and provides one with everything necessary while the landscape is just there.

Excellent apartment in centre of Clifden

An excellent apartment right in the centre of all activities in Clifden. It is also very quiet .The apartment has everything (and more) that you need for a very comfortable holiday. It also has a lovely sun balcony . We enjoyed every minute of our time here and it was very convenient for walks, sightseeing golf and boat trips in the surrounding area.

Fantastic Stay

Had a fantastic stay here, nothing to complain about. The power went the last day of our stay due to Storm Eowyn but we were well looked after. We were checked in on and flasks of hot water & lanterns provided. The apartment was warm & cosy even after the power went, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

This quiet and comfortable apartment was perfect for us. Great location for day trips yet perfectly positioned for evening meals in the great selection of pubs and restaurants. Having the balcony (South facing) to sit on was such a bonus. Great view over the water, when the tide was in, and very private. Overall, it was perfect for us and I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to any couple looking for an ideal place to stay in the area.

Beautiful spot in the middle of Clifden village. Use the supermarket almost next door, much better than Aldi or Lidl a few hundred yards away. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

Nice apartment in Clifden town

My wife and I had an enjoyable 5 night stay. Tina and Donal are gracious hosts and were very helpful in getting us situated. The kitchen is well supplied and very functional. With SuperValu just steps away, we bought groceries and cooked several meals. There are also many options for eating out within short walking distance. The deck has a lovely view of the bay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

I loved this property! It was in the perfect location. Clean and lovely decor. The back patio was amazing. I could sit and watch the baby sheep play and the bay. I will definitely book it again. I just wish I could book my next trip right away...but sadly it might be a few months. I loved it. Right in the center of shopping and restaurants. It was my second visit to the area and I love it!!

Excellent location and well furnished

The apartment was very well situated in the centre of Clivden. It had a pleasant balcony where we could sit out and eat our meals since we had excellent weather the week we were staying. The apartment was well equipped. The only slight downside was that one had to park your can in a car park a few hundred yards away since there was on street parking charges during the day. But free after 6.00pm until 11.00am next morning so if you were out for the day not a problem. Excellent pubs and live music in the town

Lovely flat

It's a lovely flat for two people. We had beautiful weather while there. The property has a dryer, but we suggest owners also provide clothes airer, washing line and pegs in case wet stuff needs to drip outside on balcony.
