“I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! “The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean it just lacked air con and with a tiny bedroom window regardless on the heating not being on there was hardly and airflow within the room. Couldnt fault anything else had a lovely stay”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“We stayed for 3 nights to explore Skipton and the Dales. The hotel is situated a distance from Skipton centre. It is a pleasant half hour walk along the canal towpath into town or a 5 min drive. The hotel is large, with carpark and with various room styles. It fronts onto a busy road so best to ask for a back facing room with a window view. Our room was on the 5th floor up in the eaves, with a velux window, no view, and was very tired and outdated especially the 90s style, grey bathroom....
