We found the lodge very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. However we were expecting an evening meal but we were not informed that it was necessary to book this in advance. As a consequence it was necessary to drive to the nearest village to eat which was disappointing.

Best chips ever!
Excellent place very friendly hosts. They don't do bar snacks but one of our party was ill and Nigel made us sandwiched and the best chips ever. Very friendly and attentive

Absolutely superb. Family run, wonderfully friendly, exceptional breakfasts and amazing 5 star plus evening meals by our host. Nothing is too much trouble. An absolute must for anyone just needing a few days break in the peace and quiet

Great rural stay
Brilliant choice for a quiet stay. Nigel and Joan are very welcoming, and cook a brilliant breakfast. I've been told (by fellow guests) that the restaurant meals are great in the evening, so I'll just need to return to try them!

Short stay to do the Three Peaks
Hotel staff were excellent could not have been more welcoming. Were very accommodating of us needing an early start and arranged so we could have cereals in our rooms so we could get out early (5.30 in the morning). Room was clean and well appointed.

Lovely area, great hosts
Lovely B&B in quite a remote area, taxis come no problem though if you want to get around without driving. Nigel and Joan were delightful, excellent breakfast choice and all very well cooked. We stayed in an annex room, size was excellent, bed very comfortable would recommend. Only slight niggle is during the day the room was unbelievably hot with just the skylight for ventilation. No problem at night/in the morning heat wise but imagine mid summer could be very warm but only a slight downside on an excellent place to stay.

No fuss, no frills but well worth a return visit.

Very good.
We spent two nights and it was great. You get a good welcome with a lovely house in a good area for seeing the dales. The breakfast is very good, as was the evening meal. I liked the fact that there is a top sheet on the bed.

Far from the madding crowd.
It wasn't easy to find - thank goodness for the satnav! - but it was certainly worth finding. Set in tranquil countryside with not a street light in sight, this hotel is a haven from the frantic world. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, the room was of a high standard and the breakfast was as close to perfect as it could have been. we were served tea and coffee in the comfortable lounge on arrival, given fresh milk to replace the uht pots on the hospitality tray and were made to feel truly welcome. There is ample car parking on the pleasant grounds, too. If you intend taking a break in Lancashire, you really must stay here!

Pleasant overnight stay
We stayed one night ,we were given a room in the separate annexe building which was private and comfortable. Lovely ensuite bathroom with a tub and powerful overhead shower. The heating came automatically and was very warm. Breakfast needed to be ordered the night before and a precise time given for arrival! The dining room is in the main building and the style is countrified. Food was v hot and well prepared. Nice scenery around , a little way from the A59 .

Super B&B in a great location
Middle Flass has large, comfortable, well equipped rooms, with all the little touches you might expect from a hotel: soap, shower gel, a razor, biscuits, tea/coffee/kettle, etc. Breakfast was very comprehensive. A much better choice than anywhere else, in my experience, and very friendly staff.

Friendly and welcoming owners . Very clean and comfortable rooms. We were in the annex and would ask for that again as remoteness meant less noise. Delightful meal if a little pricey. Finding Middle Flass Lodge wasn't easy despite a Sat Nav. It's quite a talking point in the Lodge but precise instructions of how to find it on the website would be very helpful.

Great value rural stay
I stayed at Middle Flass Lodge for just one night but based on my short stay would certainly recommend it. The location is rural and there is nothing but beautiful countryside in the immediate vicinity. I chose Middle Flass as I was doing the Three Peaks and wanted somewhere reasonably close for the early start (it was about a 20 minute drive to Horton-in-Ribblesdale) and at a economical price. There is lots to recommend a stay at Middle Flass. I was really pleased with the room I had, which was standard-sized but clean, comfortable and had some nice touches (Middle Flass towels, complementary biscuits and bottled water as well as hot drinks, plenty of easily accessible plugs). The free wifi was excellent and much faster than many hotels I've stayed at where the rooms cost more than twice as much. There is also a small bar and the prices of the drinks were very reasonable. However, the best thing was the friendly and helpful service I received. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and ensure I was able to set off for my day's trekking fully prepared and fuelled by a tasty cooked breakfast!

Middle Flass Lodge
Nice welcome. Stair lift is a bit of a trip hazard on the stairs. Could do with a bell or something in the bar/dining room to get the owners attention, but they were very friendly and accommodating when in the room. The lodge offers good value for money and we would stay again.

Nice room but customer service was rather cold
Room was comfortable and clean, although beds were not that comfortable for people with bad backs. The disappointment was not from the building or location but from the sharp greeting and reception that we received - a few pointers in friendly customer service are needed.

The place to go for Peace and Tranquility
A converted Barn in the middle of some of the most beautiful country side just out side the Dales National park in Lancashire, My Partner and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The owner's of this tastefully done barn conversion were very warm and welcoming, we will definitely be going back. Steve and Sharon From Wakefield.

Great for a restful weekend
We were given a warm welcome on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was nicely presented, the choice was very large, and the food very good indeed. We were very pleased and would go again.
