Lodge a Closeburn

“We would definitely stay at Pinewood again. Our only issue was that we didn't have anywhere to hang our wedding attire. Luckily I had my own hangers so I hung them on the bunk bars. However my other companions didn't. Loved the shower and the beds were so comfortable and warm. The staff were so helpful and happy. Cool place.”

“The property was old but in fair condition. Staff were excellent and great location.”

“Accogliente e grazioso hotel di design moderno e rustico (!) dotato di ogni comfort. A due passi dal centro e dalla cabinovia. Due note per EXPEDIA: 1. non offrono più afternoon tea, 2. Non dispongono più di biciclette per gli ospiti. Sito di EXPEDIA assolutamente da correggere.”

“Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.”

“Charming room, great staff, valet parking, location perfect”
