“What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble.”

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to...

“I only had a small single room which looked dated. Old furniture etc. bed was comfortable though. It was adequate for my 2 night stay. However the bathroom smelt a bit and I had to leave extraction fan on over night with door closed. When I first arrived the bathroom light and extractor fan was already on so I think they no it has an odour. Just needs sorting that’s all. ”
