“We loved our stay at the Cavalier. Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a room with an ocean view, fireplace and balcony. The views are fantastic! Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and close to Hearst Castle, hiking trails and nearby Cambria. Just a suggestion, bring your Amazon Fire stick with you if you want to watch tv. The basic tv in the room is analog. ”

“The room was exactly as described, and was warm and welcoming. We loved the waters and cookies that were set out for us, and the temp was set for a cool night. The staff were AMAZING- good people to talk with. When we're back in San Simeon, we will definitely book our stay with Coast Rider's Inn.”

“We LOVED our stay here!! The property was quiet, clean, and beautiful. There is a restaraunt on site but was only open Thurs-Sun, so we went on our way out of town. Food was ok/good. We were excitied about the wood-burning fireplace, and were a little disappointed. They give you a bag per night of pressed wood-like material and instructions to burn. However, it's difficult to light, and less than exciting, romantic or warm. Extra cost for any more bags, and no other wood is allowed in fireplace....
