“The Artelo is a super cute boutique hotel in the heart of Kennett Square. We loved how the room had a unique custom design with real artwork, highlighting the creative feel of the town. The room was very private and quiet and very clean. The bed was super comfortable and it seemed like the room was well insulated because we barely even noticed the construction work taking place outside at the new restaurant that will be opening soon. “The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel appeared clean overall but there was black mole on the wall of the shower/tub. The hot tub was out of service and the pool was so cold I was only able to get in once for a very few minutes. The lack of amenities was very disappointing since they were the primary reason I chose to stay there.”

“I was charged for my stay at the hotel after I strongly told them that everything was prepaid. The front desk person was rude and did not seem to care. I had to call expedia for the hotel to refund me. Breakfast was terrible with barely any choice. Scrambled eggs, sausage, no toast with a jit of yogourt. Prior to the arrival date we received 3 messages from The Inn at Whitewing Farm welcoming us and letting us know of all amenities and the fees associated with them nothing else. “The room had such character. Everything was clean with interesting touches. The linens we’re a good quality as was the mattress and the pillows. It wasn’t just a hotel room. I would love to stay there again. It was in a great area and was definitely worth it.”
