“Skip. The host listed the property as a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was a 10-12 min 4x4 drive challenge. Since we planned to be able to walk we checked out and asked for a refund. He has not done so to make the situation right. Santa Teresa has been taken over by tourists and developers and not your typical Costa Rica pura vida experience. “What an exceptional home. All that you need and more beautiful in person! The pool is perfect for a refreshing dip- and as a nice alternative to the ocean which is only steps away. At night you hear monkeys in the trees above- while the nearly silent air conditioners keep you cool and comfortable. Richard arranged for cab service to the airport, helped coordinate the delivery of ATVs and was extraordinarily responsive to any request. (But there wasn’t anything lacking!).
