The views are beautiful and loads of space in the field to set up the tent, tables, and chairs. The house itself is an older costal style, it worked nicely for everyone to get ready in. “Well appointed cottage in central location close beach and bay. Many extras not found in other rentals. Owner did a beautiful job decorating, and it was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed at. ”

“Absolutely the grossest property I've been too. 5 spiders, 1 centipede, 1 dead cockroach. Master bedroom and bathroom both had see through curtains so people could look through. Hair in the sink and wads of hair stuck to the bathroom hinge. Window AC units had gaps in them so bugs could come in without hindrance. Leaves in the ac ducts(how). Couldn’t even cut the grass for before guest arrive. We didn't even stay there. ”

“The cottage is an older structure that has been impeccably renovated. It had everything we needed for a week's stay. Colonial Beach is not a glamorous ocean holiday destination. It is a rural community with a basic infrastructure on the Potomac River.”
