Beautiful farmhouse
Beautiful home with deck, back patio and garage. Fully stocked, clean, comfortable and peaceful surroundings. Large Hot tub and firepit offers a great view. Pool table & games in basement were a fun bonus. Communication was easy with host. Listing is accurate and we would love to stay again in the future! We loved watching the chickens & singbirds daily. The little farm cat greeted us and was very friendly. We Would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Winter winery getaway
This was a different style for us, we usually do a cabin, but this place did not disappoint. So close to many wineries and had everything we wanted, including a pool table. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay to relax and enjoy the wineries
Great place to stay and has all of the amenities that you need. Quiet and relaxing and close enough to wineries to really enjoy them. Has everything you need to have a great time including a hot tub and a view! Really enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Girls trip
We had a wonderful girls trip at the property! The beds were super comfy and the hot tub was a great bonus!! The house was a little dusty but overall great stay for a weekend getaway!

Much better than expected
This trip was a quick trip and couldn't have been any better. Closer to things that you can imagine. The food and beverages are better thank you can imagine. Phenomenal place to stay.

Great Weekend Getaway
We stayed here for a girl’s trip weekend to enjoy Southern IL wine trails. This house exceeded our expectations! Lots to do when we were at the house including a hot tub, playing pool, and loads of games available. It was clean, comfortable, and had a great location. Highly recommend and will come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to chill and enjoy wine country
Amazing place to relax, sit in the hot tub and look at the stars. We were close enough and visited 4 wineries in just a couple of days Hosts were amazing and thought of everything.

Absolutely the best place to stay to enjoy Southern Illinois Shawnee wine trail. The owners took great attention to detail to make this the place we come back too Will be booking it again very soon Absolutely like being in our own home away from home.

Great place to stay! Nothing missing or sub par. Beutiful deck view many bird species, great firepit, hot tub. Inside beautiful 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths Kitchen set with anything you will need. My advice...GO THERE!

What a lovely cottage on such a beautiful and peaceful setting with so many extras. We enjoyed the hot tub, the chickens, fresh eggs, the deck, as well as a game of pool and darts! The host is beyond kind and the home has a very welcoming vibe and a great location. We will be back.

Exactly what we needed
Me and several girlfriends stayed at the Wine Country Cottage this past weekend. Everything was as advertised. The home was very clean and all the comforts of home provided. The hot tub was appreciated in the evenings after a couple of days on the Wine Trail. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed the wonderful deck and outside views. Thanks for letting us get away from life for a couple of days. We had a wonderful time and it was exactly what we needed. Kelly was a wonderful host always responding quickly to my questions and even giving us a "heads up" when the rain tried to get in the way of our travels. We would definitely stay here again and suggest it to anyone interested. Thanks so much!

Wonderful Property
If you love being away from it all, but also close to several wineries, this is the spot for you! The property was very clean and well kept. The views were excellent, and the hot tub was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in the crisp January air. Loved everything about this property! Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Shawnee Wine Trail. We were there back in 2012 and came back in 2023 (way too long of a gap if you ask me). The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. It is a perfect little getaway and close to wineries.

The perfect spot

Friends getaway
This was our fourth visit meeting friends & staying at WCC. Everything is first class. Kelly is easy & efficient in communication. The location is convenient to wineries, shops & hiking. The home has always been immaculate & we really appreciate all the details. We really enjoy the large deck, grill, pool table & every possible kitchen need. Although we did not use, the fire pit & hot tub looked inviting. The fresh eggs make for a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely return!

Beautiful, clean home. Everything you could need or want was there.
We enjoyed the pool table. If the weather had cooperated, we would have used hot tub and had a bonfire. The porch was wonderful. Enough coverage that we could sit outside in the rain. The grill was perfect for preparing meals. The host left farm fresh eggs and Starbucks coffee which was completely appreciated. The cat that visits on the porch was friendly. Our granddaughter enjoyed seeing the chickens. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Checking on us and answering all our questions. Highly recommend as you visit Shawnee National forest, and the wine trail.

Summer splendor
This property is well kept, clean and all amenities were exactly as described. Nothing out of place and nothing to disappoint. The evening view on the porch was relaxing. We enjoyed watching deer grazing in the field and the sound of songbirds. The stars gazing was exceptional. The fire pit was large and the owners have added benches for seating. Quiet relaxing morning in the hot tub and the view was a bonus. The house was perfectly located for our all our activities. Would highly recommend this property.

A wonderful peaceful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wine Country Cabin. The cabin was immaculate. The kitchen was great for preparing out meals. Loved the pool table and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. Close to wineries and Giant City State Park for walking/hiking. The front porch was great for sitting back and enjoying the peace and quiet and watching the deer in the evening. Would highly recomment to others.

Wonderful country retreat

Great Getaway
This was the perfect location for our first trip away since our second child was born and for our 5th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and activity. We enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub and playing pool. It was also our first experience on the Shawnee wine trail which we really enjoyed! Ending the day so close at blue sky was perfect but we highly recommend venturing a little further, we found Owl Creek to be our favorite!

Had a blast
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not much open during the week as far as wineries and food, but that's typical in winter. was a but of a drive when we decided to go out, but they literally have everything you could need to cook on site and it was so nice and relaxing. Loved being out away from the hustle and bustle. Sooooo amny gorgeous cardinals and blue Jays and orioles. Gorgeous sunrises and sets played pool and darts and relaxed with the tv. Thank you thank you!!!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
The perfect location for a weekend getaway. The house/property provides such a relaxing atmosphere that we could have spent all of our time on the front porch, watching all kinds of birds and other wild life. The hot tub and fire pit are added bonuses! The house itself was clean and accommodating, and the bed was so comfortable! Wineries are within minutes from the property. Would definitely recommend!
