“At the time of stay (June 2026), Expedia had this as an 8.4 rating. Unfortunately, I found that to be completely over-rated - on my scale, this place is a 7 at best. We were staying in Benson because we had gone hiking at the Chiricahua National Monument (highly recommended) and I thought driving back 2 hrs to Tucson (vs 1 hr to Benson) might be a better idea.
