“We choose to stay in Cody on August 20 - 21 to be reasonably close to the totality path. It was the rght choice! We actually enjoyed the event from a perfect location ten miles east of Shoshoni, just a couple of hour drive from Cody.
The hotel itself is ok. Prices were absurdely high, but it was probably the same everywhere in Cody those days.

“Wish we could have stayed longer. A delightful place with everything you could ask for: great space, wonderful bathroom in our suite, easy parking right out front, and walkable to everywhere in Red Lodge. Delicious breakfast too!”

“A wooden typical lodge near Togwotee Pass. It’s 20 min away from Moran Entrance Grand Teton NP and 1 hour away from Jackson, so it’s a little bit in the middle of nowhere. Very welcoming, old-but-gold room, and a nice saloon where to have dinner/lunch but the prices of food are too high.”
