Welcome to Cowboy Bunkhouse #2, a simply renovated retreat with rustic western charm and wide-open views of the Southfork Valley. Surrounded by mountain scenery and Wyoming skies, this cozy bunkhouse offers the peace of country living while still being just a short drive from the shops, dining, and attractions of downtown Cody. Wildlife sightings are common in the area, and the front porch is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or take in the mountain views at the end of the day.
Inside, the bunkhouse is thoughtfully equipped with modern comforts to make your stay easy and relaxing. The full kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals, while the comfortable living area includes a smart TV and a sofa sleeper for additional guests. A mini-split system provides air conditioning during warmer months. The bedroom features a queen bed and a twin daybed with a twin trundle, making it a great setup for families traveling with children. . The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, and outside you will find a grill and seating area to enjoy meals while taking in the beautiful mountain scenery.
Located in the Southfork Valley, you are about a 10-minute drive from historic downtown Cody where you will find restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, and local boutiques. You are also close to many of Cody's most popular attractions, including the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and rodeo grounds. Whether you are visiting as a basecamp for Yellowstone adventures or to experience the spirit of the American West, Cowboy Bunkhouse #2 offers a comfortable and scenic place to stay.

Loved that the location was out of town. The views were stunning. Deer grazed in front of the cabin. Communication was excellent. The cabin had history, was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The host allowed us to park our small trailer next to the cabin. Great dog. Some of the furnishings were worn.

The property was great. Beautiful scenery from the front porch. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very accommodating. I messed up on scheduling the stay and an extra night was added with ease.

Cozy Cabin

Great Viehs and rustic cabin that has Everything you need if you Plan to Cook. Just bring the food. There is even a crockpot, Toaster, coffee pot and grill. Found Basic pots and pand, dishes and glasses. There was just my husband and I and there was plenty of space. We enjoy sitting porch in the morning and evenings.

Perfect Stay right outside Yellowstone

Stayed here with my mom and we had a great time. The kitchen is perfect for what is needed in that location. There is ample room for people. Can totally sleep 5 comfortably. Lovely views and scenic location.

Picturesque views!

We stayed here to visit Yellowstone over a week. Great little place! Great views, has wifi, a Roku, and 3 beds. The hot water was super hot! We also fed the super friendly horses next door (which idk if that was allowed). We enjoyed our stay and woudld stay again!

We loved this place. It was roomy, clean, and close to all the places we wanted to see. Also there was plenty of sleeping options so we each had our own bed. The views were lovely. The living room was a good size, the kitchen was small, but had every thing we needed for cooking meals.

The view outside was worth it. It was a lovely stay.

This was a nice property with a fantastic view. Easy check in easy check out. Due to the holiday weekend it actually took less time to drive in from Cody than travelers coming from the west entrance. The Cody lodging company had a great activity, they gave us cute bears to take pictures of. My family really had a great time with it!
