SEE YOU IN THE SPRING! Close to Coeur D' Alene yet set in a wooded atmosphere.

Closed for winter but will reopen in the Spring! Escape to this charming Barndominium located in a private wooded setting yet 10 minutes from the picturesque downtown Coeur d'Alene or Post Falls and just 30 minutes from Spokane, WA. This beautiful property fits 4 guests comfortably. Walk into a full-sized kitchen that has all the amenities to prepare delectable meals. Refresh in one of two full size bathrooms, stocked with towels and basic soaps. Keep your clothes fresh with the in-unit washer/dryer that is available. Unwind in the cozy living room, where you can enjoy free WIFI, board games and smart TV entertainment. At the top of the narrow spiral stairs, features 2 full sized bedrooms and full size bathroom with a quaint walk in shower. The master bedroom is spacious and has an adjustable queen bed and TV. Guest bedroom comes with a full-size captain's bed. Patio is equipped with outdoor furniture and table for relaxing (weather permitting), observing local wildlife.

LOOKING FOR ENTERTAINENT! Venture out to one of the 4 ski resorts (Mt. Spokane, Switzer, Silver Valley and Lookout Pass) within 1.5 to 2 hours away. Silverwood Theme Park is 20 minutes away, Triple play entertainment center and a family park on the Spokane River 5 minutes away. Other activities include Golfing/Hiking/biking trails/parks/restaurants/casino's and resort. All within a short distance as well.
Our place is equipped for both long/short term stays to make your vacation/business trip one to remember. There may even be the occasional wildlife that could be just outside your door. Guests will feel right at home.

This was a nice home with many personal touches. Well stocked and very thoughtful hosts. It was quite clean and quiet. The spiral stairs were just as pictured - narrow but manageable. I would recommend adding interior locks to the access doors from the garage/barn to give guests even more peace of mind.

We came to town to visit our 96-year-old grandma and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and so well stocked—it truly felt like home. We loved the lovely view, the comfy beds, and the thoughtful welcome treats. Having the washer and dryer was a big help during our visit. The Kal-El license plate gave us a smile every time we saw it! We’ll definitely be back on future trips.

Quick trip for daughters engagement

Loved this spot for a quick trip for our daughter’s engagement. So cute, clean and comfortable. Saw a mama & baby deer right before we left. Was concerned about the stairs, but worked out great. Kelly was so accommodating.

Was a great experience, Kelly showed us around and had cold water ready. That was great after a long ride on a hot day. The deer outside were fun to watch. The place was clean and well stocked. Can’t wait to stay here again in a few months.

Access to the bedrooms was a spiral staircase which was narrow and difficult to navigate. The staircase made it impossible to move luggage (there was a traditional staircase but it required the owners to access) The entry was a sliding glass door that was impossible to lock but since the location was rural and safe we ended up just leaking the unit unlocked. The kitchen had cabinets which were impossibly high for my wife to reach. I recommend that they be lowered by 6 inches. On the good side, the unit was spotless and the owners very responsive when needed. Appliances included new dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer.

Views, quiet, clean and AWESOME HOST!

This was a beautiful location, the place is very clean, the beds comfy and the amenities top notch! We saw a wild turkey, two deer and the cutest kitty ever during our stay. The host was very attentive, and super quick to respond. We would definitely book this place again.

Peace, Quiet, & Relaxation!

We came on short notice and in poor weather, but we were met with a welcome goodie basket, and a perfect space for us to take rest. The beds were comfortable and we all had a great night's sleep. If you come during winter, pack for winter - I got great use out of my fuzzy/cozy socks. Hosts were welcoming, communicative, and gave clear instructions. They also offered a great selection of games. We hope to return in the future.

This was a very cute property located just out of town and in the woods with deer on your doorstep. Very lively couple running it. My husband and I are (68 &70)older so we’re a little surprised by the location of the bedrooms was up a very small spiral staircase which We were able to master but we think this beautiful place would be better for younger than us guests! Other than our age we would stay here again!!
