Goditi una vacanza indimenticabile per la tua famiglia in questa casa 4 camere da letto / 2 bagni completamente arredata in riva al lago. Tre camere da letto hanno letti queen-size, mentre il soppalco è arredato con 1 letto full size e 2 letti singoli, il tutto sufficiente per ospitare comodamente 10 persone. Per le famiglie con bambini, c'è un box pieghevole con lenzuola per la vostra convenienza. Il comodo soggiorno e la camera da letto nel seminterrato offrono Smart TV con canali locali, Firesticks con Netflix, Prime, HBO ora e Sling TV +. Internet WI-FI in tutto. La cucina è perfettamente equipaggiata con tutti i comfort di casa, tra cui un Keurig, una pressa per panini, una cuociriso, un frullatore Ninja e un barbecue appena fuori dalla porta scorrevole della cucina. C'è un ampio parcheggio dietro la casa per 3 auto e 1 permesso per il parcheggio in strada. Avrai accesso ai nostri giochi estivi e invernali all'aperto, tra cui biciclette per adulti in tandem, marsupio per escursionismo, passeggino per ombrellone, attrezzatura da spiaggia e slitte per lo slittino Cherry Hill!

Situato di fronte a City Park e City Beach e a pochi passi da Downtown, gli ospiti possono divertirsi andando in giro per la città, passeggiando per i negozi e i ristoranti di Downtown, facendo escursioni a Tubbs Hill, rilassandosi al City Park, kayak o paddle boarding sul lago o rilassandosi su la spiaggia! Our stay was terrific. The house is charmingly quaint and extremely well equipped. Each of us (four couples) had our own bedroom and the common areas are more than adequate for all of us gathering together. While we did not have dinners at the house, we easily prepared our breakfasts and lunches in the well stocked kitchen. The location of the house is great. It is right at the edge of a park with a playground, basketball and pickleball courts, and is a short walk to the beach. We took advantage of the outdoor equipment in the “shed” (bikes and beach chairs) behind the house. The house is close enough to the downtown area of Coeur d’Alene that we were able to walk nearly every place we wanted to go for shopping and dining. We liked having an easily (for us) remembered door code that negated the need for a key. There is also parking space behind the house so we did not even need the parking permit provided.The host Flo was always very quick to respond to our questions. Overall we and our three adult children and their spouses thoroughly enjoyed our three day visit to Coeur d’Alene and our stay at the Fort Grounds house. (July 7 - 10, 2025)Thank you.

Excellent Home

It was the perfect house for us! Clean and comfy. The location is fantastic with a park across street, downtown 5 min walk and the beach is a block away. The beach items and stroller were a huge plus. Thank you for sharing your home.

Perfect Location

We were in town for my mother's funeral. Perfect location for early morning and evening walks. We could meet family across the street at the park and visit while the kids played. There was an issue with the door code, Flo was very responsive and the issue was resolved almost immediately. Would definitely stay again.

Great location next to downtown, the beach, and parks!

Overall, this home had all the amenities we needed to make it a home-away-from-home, and my family was very happy with it. It was very clean, we could find everything easily, and there were no amenities we wanted. Being right across from the Fort Sherman Park was great. The only thing I would caution is for family with young kids: the bedrooms are on 3 different levels, so if a kid wakes up in the middle of the night s/he will have to go up/down stairs to get to the parents; you cannot get from one bedroom to another without encountering stairs. The bedrooms that work best for kids have a step down immediately upon opening the bedroom door. We worked around this through the following: One of the top floor rooms has a queen bed with a little alcove that has a table and chairs for kids. We hauled the twin mattresses from another room and placed them in the alcove and we slept in the queen bed in the same room. The kids loved it, and they are still asking to go back to this house!

Nice house, great location

We went to parks, played pickleball, walked downtown, hung out at the lake, hiked on Tubbs hill, ate dinner on back deck. We had everything we needed. There were some water toys and bikes in shed. There were good instructions for all of it! We would stay here again. It is great for Families of all ages except for people who can't do any stairs. The AC was so appreciated this August!!! House had all the amenities we needed! Very Minor things for owner to know. None of these things affected our stay. -VRBO had an issue and sent me instructions for another house. I didn't get the key code to open house until I contacted owner and they had to text me and get message sent again. -bikes were not a necessity obviously and only a perk, but they do need a tune-up. We had fun riding the tandems either way though. -BBQ had not been cleaned for a long time in our opinion. We wanted to use it, so we cleaned it up. -the stove cover below microwave fell off. It was held up by tape. We just had to retape it to stay. -glass sliding door was hard to open and close. Might be hard for an older person. -when we were at the house, we didn't lock the outer door. But that's the only way the outer front door would stay closed. There is an inner door, so it stayed cool in house still. Thank you for sharing your home. 🙂

Wonderful Weekend Retrear

Absolutely loved this property. It is within walking distance of a beautiful park, the lake, Coeur d’Alene resort, downtown, and several courts for pickleball etc. The unit came stocked with all kinds of water toys and bikes. Slept 9 adults very comfortably. Host replied quickly and was very accommodating. Would stay again and highly recommend.

We will not come back again

Pros: Location. This house is located within a few minutes walking to the beach. The park with a huge playground is also very close. Parking. There is enough space to park 3 vehicles, one on the street and 2 in the back. There was a confusion with use of the garage, though. While the email instructions from the owner clearly stated that the 2 car garage is available for use and that the garage key is inside of the house, as well as the driveway is not for guest use, we spend quite a bit of time looking for both. Kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked: there are plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils, as well as good amenities. Additionally, patio has many chairs, and grill is available for use and works well. Water/AC. It was great that ACs were available in each room, and we could adjust air temperature to our liking. Considering the summer heat, it is a lifesaver. There was no issues with hot/cold water at all.Cons. Safety. The kitchen door screen is torn at the bottom . The dishwasher is not attached as it should be and is wobbly. Cleanliness. Our family of four stayed in the bedroom in the attic and the floors were dirty and dusty The surfaces had crumbles/ sand that gave us an impression that the house has only light cleaning. No professonal cleaning was envolved, despite charged fee for each individual.Please be prepared to bend down in one of the bedrooms, as it is located in the attic where you only have about 20% of space where you can fully stand.

Ideal Location- Cute Comfy Home

This sweet home worked so well for our family and dog. The location is absolutely incredible and you can walk to everything. The securely fenced yard and A/C units in each bedroom were especially useful. We plan to return to CDA and would love to rent this home again. (We had a small kerfuffle regarding our check in but our host worked to quickly resolve beyond our expectations.)

Great Place to Stay in Coeur d’Alene’s Fort Mason Area

This home was a great place to stay. An older home remodeled to the comforts of modern day living. We enjoyed the air conditioning the days it was up over 100. Family loved eating outside, then walking to the beach. I would highly recommend this VRBO listing.

Great for walking to park and kale! Lake is beautiful!! Can walk to town, adorable place!! Had 2 days in silverwood, g-kids had a great time!! Also rented a boat to see the lake and swim!😊. Flo is wonderful!

Prime CDA location

Prime CDA location The house is steps away from the park and beach and walking distance to shops and dining. Everything needed for a day at the beach is available for use, including a wagon! The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Some low thresholds so those over 6’2 need to be very careful passing through. The yard is fenced and does share access with another rental. Flo was very responsive and easy to deal with.

Staycation in Coeur d'Alene

My husband and I, daughter, her husband and their 5 kids, ages 1-10 had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. We could walk to the park, the beach and playground. Kitchen was setup perfect with a big kitchen table with benches where we played board games and ate. Bathrooms updated, clean and stocked well. I forgot my pillow which i travel with but the pillows and linens were soft! Each room had an air conditioner which was nice! I would recommend this property and we can't wait to return!

This house was perfect for our group of 7. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed for meals and adventures to the park and beach. The location is ideal and the city attractions can be reached by foot. Highly recommended.

Amazing location for vacation

House was very comfortable. Location is unbeatable! Some of the bedrooms for kids are a little quirky, but they had so much fun in their sleeping spaces that it kept them occupied! We enjoyed the outdoor eating area a lot as well. We had so much fun with the activities that we did not watch TV, so I can;t comment about infotainment.

Best 4th ever!

There were six adults and a 2 1/2 old. Plenty of space indoors and out. Walking distance to lake, park, shops and restaurants. Ate delicious meals so saved $$..laughed and made lots of sweet memories. We definitely tent from Flo again! Many thanks

Location Location!

The location was definitely the selling point! We were at the park every single day and just had to walk a very short distance. Very quiet area as well. Home is fully fenced and very well stocked.
