“Our stay at the Chalet was perfect for my wife and I. We spent four days there and for two of those days we never left the chalet as we just relaxed, watched movies, fished from the dock (caught four different species of fish within an hour) and the best part of all was enjoyed the wood fired cedar hot tub. My wife likes a “hot” hot tub and needless to say we burned up a little bit of Trent’s firewood using it. Trent was great to work with from beginning to end. We actually got to meet Trent and...

“Lots of options for sleeping (2 rooms main floor, 2 rooms in the lower level), and a beautiful view of a shallow lake. We appreciated how easy it was to find the home, which can be challenging at times with homes in northern Minnesota. The hosts have a well-stocked kitchen for pots, pans, and utensils. We really enjoyed the north woods appeal and the peaceful setting. ”

“We visited for a quick two day getaway. The cabin was perfectly described, very clean and had a welcome note with treats for the kids. The lake and land are clean and gorgeous. It was cooler weather a space heater was provided along with extra bedding to stay warm. You get the feeling that they really care about your stay, along with the adorable vintage cabin. The weather wasn’t great but we made the most of it and the kids didn’t care! We will be back for a warmer stay with more swimming.”

“Snuggled amongst gorgeous trees with stunning views of the lake is the perfect place to stay with not only with your family but your friends entire family as well. Comfy beds, great gathering and eating spaces - we never felt crowded. Our dog loved every moment. Anything needed was already there. Great time was had by all enjoying the outdoor spaces along with the pool table, darts and shuffle board. Can't wait to stay again!”

“Wow this place was amazing! The cabin was amazing and right on the lake! We are big bird watchers and saw pelicans, swans, lions, osprey, and eagles. Several kinds of turtles including snappers. The fire pit area is lovely as is the deck facing the lake. I just wish we had more time to stay! But we definitely will come back and the hosts were very receptive to all of our questions! We stay at a lot of VRBO properties and this one earns an A+.”

“The home is beautiful and is set on the hill of a wonderful lake. The hot tub was very clean and beds were super comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4/5 on the accuracy of the listing is that I didn’t see (or maybe just missed it) that there are many stairs to go up/down to get to the home from the car. We had one person with a broken foot (in a boot) and one person that had total reconstruction of their leg due to an accident… stairs just made it much more difficult. But, the once in, it was...

“Fishing and hiking was goal. First day beautiful early fall day about 73 and partly sunny. Caught a few bass and enjoyed the beautify lake that had little development and hope it stays that way! Cabin was perfect for location with so many other lakes to explore if bringing own boat, kayak or canoe. Hiking trails and Chippewa National Forest is awesome!”
