While we did not use all the Barrier Island amenities because it’s off season (and we own another home nearby), I can tell you they are convenient and great for families. “What a wonderful host and a lovely property”

“Kitchen was well stocked but refrid needs to be updated with ice maker. Kitchen cabinets and oven were not clean. Outside was poorly lit and there were no street lights which made entering the home at night difficult. ”

“We selected this property because of the location, and because it looked perfect for 2 people with no pets. The photos of the unit are very nice, but they did not do the property justice. It was beautifully designed and absolutely immaculate. The bed is very comfortable. Our host thought of everything to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, and it is a short drive over the bridge to the best of the outer banks. We will definitely make a return...

“Great location and neighborhood. When we arrived and walked in to the house there was a strong odor of what smelt like mold, and it didn’t go away. And the water to the out side shower didn’t work. Not to give a bad review just something that could have been taken care of before hand. Enjoyed the stay and will give it a thumbs up.”
