Cottage a Colchester

“Very unique hotel and perfect for our stay! Beds and chairs were super comfy, the space was eclectic, nice to have a bottle of water provided and the glasses were top notch for enjoying our Pelee Island wine! Central location and walking distance to some fine local restaurants. Shower was super powerful as well. Highly recommend! Parking is in a public lot if you can’t snag one of the spaces behind the hotel but very close and free.”

“We like everything: Clean place, clean room, clean towels, clean sheets, wide refrigerator, nice front desk people, nice lobby, pretty outside fountained, secured place to be. We love it.”

“The stay was good and it was quiet for the most part. The area was clean, shoes were not allowed in the unit. The kitchen had cookware and such. Minimal condiments. The TV remote was broken so we had no volume on the TV and had to turn it on manually. We synced our phone to the Netflix movie we were watching for the sound. ”

“A cozy house just south of downtown (just north of the ferry dock). We had the guest suite (downstairs), which had a minor disadvantage of pipes running across the ceiling, but otherwise, it was well soundproofed and got good light from outside. Breakfast was provided each morning and was a mix of berries, fruits, yoghurts, and scrambled eggs. The hosts (and their three dogs) ere wonderful people, very friendly, with a lot of hospitality experience. Would stay again!”

“This was the perfect space for a short working getaway. Being able to take breaks to walk down to the lake and through the park trails was wonderful! The space is very well organized and comfortable. If your vehicle is larger than a sedan, parking on the street may be your best bet if you plan to do a lot of driving.”

“Looks better in concept than in execution. The useful-looking bedside lamp with multiple ports/outlets in the base looked useful, except nothing (not even the lamp bulb) worked, even though it was plugged in. The two pot lights over the desk also looked like a thoughful touch, except I could not find a switch for them (or else they, too, don't work). Having said that, everything was very clean, the fridge worked, the bed was quite comfortable and all the washroom plumbing worked perfectly. The...

“the accommodation was as advertised. clean ,quiet and comfortable. The walkway with stones was a bit awkward for walking but I understand why it is this way. I would suggest that facecloths be included with the provided towels. Enjoyed stay - would recommend to others”
