Fully Loaded - Bikes & Hot Tub - Burlington Area + Bike Path

Welcome to Hazen Lyon Haven, a beautifully designed private retreat in Colchester’s Malletts Bay, where comfort, space, and convenience come together in a serene setting. This newly built 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home offers an elegant base for enjoying Lake Champlain, Burlington, and Vermont’s ski season.

Inside, soaring 9-foot ceilings and an open-concept first floor create a bright, refined atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a spacious dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a warm living room with a gas fireplace — perfect for relaxing after a day on the water, trails, or slopes.

The home features a first-floor primary suite with a tiled bath, walk-in shower, and double vanities, along with two additional large upstairs bedrooms and a generous full bath. A dedicated office workspace and fast internet provide a comfortable option for remote work or extended stays.

Step outside to covered front and rear porches, a large hot tub, and ample parking, including room for boats. An EV charger adds modern convenience, while 8 belt-drive bicycles available from April through October make it easy to explore the surrounding area in style. Secure garage storage is also available for bicycles and outdoor gear.

The hot tub is emptied and cleaned after every guest to help ensure a fresh and relaxing experience.

This gorgeous property was perfect for my family’s needs. It was very accessible to the causeway and the Burlington bike path. We appreciated the hot tub after a couple long bike rides! Tom was a great host! 10 out of 10 experience. We would love to stay here again!

The house is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean! Tom and his wife thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, this is a home away from home, everything you would need is here, the fresh flowers sitting on the counter upon arrival were such a nice touch!The home is a close/short drive to all fun things to do and places to eat in the Burlington area, I highly recommend staying at this home!

Burlington Wonderful Stay

Our family was gathered for a beautiful summer wedding and our stay at Tom's vrbo couldn't have been better. Tom was very responsive to my questions. The place is so clean and well stocked. We all want to come back!

Exceed our expectations.

This is our first time using Vrbo. Boy I’m glad our first experience was with Tom and his beautiful house. Spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. It’s a very clean and well maintained home. Great location, next to the bike trail and the beach is super close too. He’s very good at responding to messages as well. Highly recommend

Perfect Homebase

This place was great! It was perfect as headquarters for a long weekend exploring the area. The beds are comfortable, everything is good quality and clean, and pretty much everything you could need is already there! The kitchen is ready for you to cook big meals with your farmers market haul (basic spices, all the cooking utensils and pots and pans), and sitting in the hot tub at night in the fall is perfection. The dining table is perfect for puzzles (we did 3!), and there is a good collection of puzzles and games. The bikes are great, and easy to use. I would definitely return.

The Perfect Girls Weekend

We booked this property for a laid back girls weekend to celebrate my sister’s upcoming wedding. The accommodations were so beautiful from the moment you walk in. The decor and furniture are so tasteful and you can really tell the owners put in a lot of effort to welcome their guests. Instructions to enter were easy to follow and additional instructions were left inside for any other possible situations. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of blankets, pillows, towels and anything you might need. The neighborhood was lovely and a quick drive into Burlington. There were also tons of matching bikes in the garage that we were able to take on a trail nearby. Did I mention the hot tub? It was perfect for us ladies to hang out and chat in the evening. I highly recommend booking and am already raving about my next trip to this beautiful location!

Beautiful, peaceful, perfect

We were SO thrilled with our stay this weekend in Colchester! We were 8 girls who wanted a bit of a fun bachelorette party with a comfortable place to stay while we did some local activities. It was the perfect home-base for us and Tom was an excellent and friendly host. The hot tub was awesome, it was extremely clean and had everything we needed to cook a few meals. If ever we head to Burlington again, we will definitely be staying here! Thanks for making our weekend extra awesome, Tom!

Awesome place for a group!

Tom’s place was so perfect for our group of 8 friends. It was spacious and clean and with areas to gather and hang out together which we loved! It was an easy 13 minute drive down to church street in Burlington. Tom was super responsive and helpful and provided awesome recommendations for breweries and restaurants in the area! Overall, we had a wonderful New Years Eve at Tom’s place and would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Home for Family with Teenagers

We stayed here while we visited our son who is at UVM. It's about 20 minutes to UVM if you take the scenic drive along the bay. The house has everything you need and is very, very clean. We really liked the cozy blankets in each room and did one of the puzzles in the living room with the fireplace lit. It is quiet and cozy and provides a great layout for teenagers who want their own space, but also for folks to come together as a family. Don't miss the walk on the trail that extends out into the water for many miles at Causeway Park which is four minutes (drive) from the house.

Fall weekend getaway

Tom’s place was immaculate. The booking was easy, check-in was seamless and he always answered any questions I had. We went up with a few friends and our one year old and the house had so many amenities and stocked with all of the necessities when traveling. There was a pack and play, high chair and baby gates available which makes it so much easier to travel with a little one. The walking trail was so nice and convenient for runs. The house is also very clean. 100% would stay here again and would recommend it.

Great Spot

We couldn't have found a better place to stay near Burlington. The house was perfect for my sister, my 2 adult children and me. Very comfortable and well-stocked. Tom is the consummate host. He had provided everything one could possibly need (except perhaps for a garlic press and drip coffee maker). The hot tub is top notch and having a gas grill is a wonderful amenity. I'd stay here again and again.

Girlfriends trip to Vermont

The house was very well laid out and great for our group of 5 ladies. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. I have stayed in many VRBO places and Tom’s house was the best stocked house of all. Plenty of coffee k cups for breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and also watching tv in the evening. The location allowed for easy commutes to Burlington and the surrounding areas. Recommending this rental is easy as Tom seemed to think of everything. One member of my group loved the bedspreads so much that she contacted Tom to find out where he had purchased them.

Beautiful stay!

Spent the weekend here with friends and we loved it! The house was decorated beautifully and those where some of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on. The house is roomy, we went with 6 people and easily could of had more and still been comfortable. An easy 15 minute drive into Burlington and lots of areas to walk around trails close by. The host was also very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely book this stay again!
