“The location nd space was amazing…but it was the stellar staff that get the top notch accolades. They were all so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. I found everything about this stay to be wonderful and look forward to a return!”

Camere ben arredate , colazione ( con incluso champagne ) ottima . Molto gentile e disponibile il personale incluso , e soprattutto, una ragazza italiana di origini abruzzesi.”

“Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.”

“Great Boutique hotel in Edinburgh! We did not get a bigger family sized room, which they do have, but they brought a cot for us and it fit my daughter really well! They had a fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, stocked bar, water etc. Location was fantastic super central in the old town with views of the castle! Staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“We truly enjoyed our stay in this property. Being able to see the castle outside of our windows was just beautiful. It’s close to a lot of places we wanted to visit and easy access to all sorts of transportation. Aside from not having a remote control for our television, it was enjoyable. Will be coming back again and highly suggest this location. A family of 4 fits comfortably. ”

Atmosfera giovane e divertente, servizio senza pecche, particolari di pregio e alcune piacevoli sorprese. The bathroom is bigger than the room itself, there’s not enough space to just be! A tiny shelf, a small one door wardrobe…
For more than 200€ a night (avg. of 4 nights) it’s a robbery!
The floor has never been cleaned in 4 days, when I arrived there was dirt on the bathroom floor and there it stayed the whole duration of the stay.
Also, the fixed shower head… can you not update to a flexible one? I know you are not used to bidet but that would be all people would need in order to avoid taking 2 showers a day, consuming tons of water.
I Did not buy the breakfast so i can’t judge on that, but I had to pay to leave the luggage on the last day (it’s 1 pound, but still…this have never happened before anywhere I travelled) "

"Perfectly located on Princes st right between Scott monument and Waverley station. Unfortunately is an ancient building, so you have to climb first flight of stairs to get to reception (no lift) then you can reach your room via lift but through narrow corridors (unsuitable with huge and heavy luggages).
Room is very clean and bed very comfy but walls are paper thin! I could hear people chatting loud, slamming doors and thumping on the floor when entering their room. On the other hand they could hear me talking on the phone inside my room! (but they didn't apologize for the noise they made earlier)
Nice lounge room where to sit and relax after a day out overlooking Scott monument and Old town.
Breakfast and bar a little overpriced, amazing and helpful staff either receptionists and housekeepers."

Colazione normale con tutto il necessario per uscire dal tavolo pieno. Circa 15 minuti a piedi dal centro, 5 minuti dalla stazione , se la sera non hai voglia di spostarsi ci sono ristorante e pub a 2 minuti a piedi. Tornerei tranquillamente in questo hotel"

"Abbiamo trovato una struttura nella media, per i motivi che vi elenco. Siamo stati accolti da receptionist preparate e cordiali. L'hotel si trova in una zona comoda, dove sono presenti supermercati, ristoranti e fermate del bus. Peccato che non c'era segnalato da nessuna parte che l'hotel è in fase di ristrutturazione e che quindi l'ingresso era spostato, facendoti passare attraverso il cantiere e poi dall'alloggio degli universitari. La camera era come da foto e descrizioni. L'abbiamo trovata pulita e in ordine. Il problema dell'alloggio che ci è stato dato era l'isolamento acustico. Sentivo i vicini, ma sopratutto durante la notte c'erano rumori e forti vibrazioni dai locali sottostanti. "
