“This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

“The room was very clean. The front desk staff person, however, was extremely rude. The checkin was right at 4:00, even though they were not full and rooms were available sooner. When I asked about waiting on the property until the room was ready, the front desk staff person told me I couldn't do that because I wasn't a registered guest. Then she added, "and you can go into the pool area." I wasn't going to the pool anyway.”

“Would have been nice to know thst the place was being remodeled. Changed the lock on our door after 6pm. Had to go down to front desk to get jew key cards, after geing told we didn't heed to.
First room had ants, and although they did gove us a new room, they couldnt be bothered to apologize.
The 2 indivuduals that did breakfast were fantastik. Veey friendly and on top of everything”
