Immerso nella pace e nella tranquillità della campagna andalusa, circondato da uliveti e mandorleti, questo spazioso cottage recentemente ristrutturato offre una vista mozzafiato sulla valle sottostante. Situato a breve distanza dal villaggio di Colmenar che ha una buona selezione di bar di tapas, ristoranti locali e negozi locali, panifici, macellerie, farmacia, centro medico aperto 24 ore su 24, mercato settimanale di frutta e verdura, banche, ecc. Il cottage è indipendente, privato e ha un sacco di parcheggio privae sicuro proprio accanto alla proprietà.
La proprietà comprende un ampio, arioso e spazioso salone con divano, stufa a legna, poltrone, tv, dvd e una zona pranzo per 4 persone. La cucina ben attrezzata ha porte finestre che conducono direttamente sulla terrazza da pranzo ombreggiata. Le camere sono ariose, spaziose e ben arredate e dotate di zanzariere alle finestre e di ventilatori per l'estate. C'è anche un barbecue a gas e un sacco di posti a sedere., Ha la sua piscina privata a forma ovale, circondata da patii in pietra intarsiati giardini e panorami panormici delle valli particolarmente bella di notte. Questa incantevole proprietà è estremamente spaziosa e offre un comfort eccezionale ed è un'ottima base per esplorare questa bellissima zona dell'Andalusia con la sua architettura moresca, villaggi imbiancati e cucina tradizionale. Malaga, l'aeroporto e le spiagge sono circa mezz'ora. Visitare alcuni dei luoghi più storici dell'Andalusia, ad esempio Malaga con le sue strade intricate con antichi bar taas, il castello di Gibalfaro, la cattedrale e il nuovo porto turistico Muelle Uno, Ronda con la sua gola e arena, Granada con il suo palazzo dell'Alhambra, Marbella e Orange Square, Nerja e il suo famoso Le grotte di Balcon de Europa e Maro sono gite di un giorno a causa della posizione centrale della struttura. La strada a doppia carreggiata principale che porta alla costa o più nell'entroterra è a soli 10 km. Questa proprietà è un vero paradiso di pace e tranquillità per riposare, rilassarsi e godersi il sole!

Cosy cottage in the countryside with stunning views

The cottage had everything we needed and if something was missing, Angela was just a message away. Beds are perfectly fine and we slept well becauae of the quiet surroundings. The kitchen is a bit dated but it works fine and everything's there for preparing a meal. It's location is perfect for exploring the area around Malaga, Nerja, Cordoba and Sevilla. We had a lovely week and love to come back!

Property Not All As Listing

The property, is as listed, relatively secluded close to the owners house & guest accommodations. Access is via an unmade track, which, can result in the underside of a car hitting the surface. General condition of the property is fair. The listing & images "Private Newly refurbished Villa" bears little comparison. No fenced garden but made up with chicken wire and stakes, or not at all. The pool area shows sun beds with padded covers under fixed sunshade, there are no cushions or sunshade, just a hole. The outside dining area shows a quality table and 4 chairs & sun shade. None of these remain, there is a plastic table and4 metal/plastic woven chairs, 2 of which are broken. Rustic bench & table in the garden are no longer there. Apart from a plastic (damaged) beach parasol, the size of an umbrella, there is no shade outside most of the day. The pool, on arrival had decomposing leaf debris on the base, was never cleared or serviced over the entire duration of 10 days, despite being advised it would be. Great views from the property, but not as the image on the listing.. Hot/Cold water is freely available ( hot water very hot) Kitchen is basic in condition and provision of crockery & cutlery. Oven not used due to its general cleanliness. Smart TV worked fine. Fridge worked fine but lacking a number of shelves which made it difficult to utilise fully. The property, over the 10 days, was not serviced inline with the listing that "bedding is replaced weekly" towels also stayed with us throughout (washed by us) Wrought iron headboards to the bedrooms, together with the period wooden wardrobes & panelled doors have been replaced with white chipboard self assembly storage units (IKEA) no clothes hanging facility, plain flush bedroom doors have replace the character furnishings as shown on the listing . Free wireless internet & 4G phone signal is available. On the safety side for guests, the listing states there is a fire detector in the kitchen, there is not. Emergency exit route, there is not, Fire extinguisher was last serviced 2016 which is a great concern. Must have been great some years ago but unfortunately misrepresented for what is now is.

Limpieza

El entorno es estupendo. La casa , de tipo rural, está muy bien. La dueña, Ángeles, es agradable. Como crítica, por supuesto constructiva, la casa está bastante dejada en cuanto a limpieza. Las camas tienen sólo una sábana y un “nórdico” fino. Solicitamos a la dueña otra sábana, comprometiéndose a llevarla al día siguiente pero no la trajo. El frigorífico es muy viejo, le faltan elementos para colocar botellas y alimentos y, además, enfría poco por lo que no es apto para guardar carne ni otros productos perecederos. No tiene lavadora/secadora. En la zona ajardinada de la piscina había deyecciones de perros que no habían sido retiradas. El interruptor de la luz de la piscina se encuentra en un pilar, completamente oculto por una rama de árbol (lo encontramos la última noche). Tuvimos que comprar un lavavajillas para fregar los platos y cubiertos porque no había. Los botes para limpiar el baño y fregar el suelo estaban completamente vacíos, la señal wifi para ver la tv se perdía con frecuencia y la barbacoa de butano no prendía en el fuego de la dercha…. En resumen: hemos disfrutado bastante del entorno aunque la casa y su limpieza están bastante dejadas y sería conveniente realizar en ella una inversión para que la estancia sea mucho más agradable y cómoda. Por otra parte, la hora de ingreso el primer día (las 4 de la tarde) no me parece adecuada ya que la hora para dejar la casa el último día es a las 10:30 horas de la mañana aunque la dueña y una limpiadora que la acompañaba se presentaron alas 09.50 horas, solicitando permiso para comenzar a limpiar.

Horrible

La casa está llega de avispas , mosquitos un gran ect de especies animales . La limpieza brilla por su ausencia , cocina super sucia, baño igual , los sillones daba asco sentarse de las manchas que tiene, las sábanas super sucias con manchas . El wifi funciona cada media hora hay que apagarlo y volverlo a encender, no hay TV solo canales ingleses . La piscina de 7 días que estuvimos no vinieron a limpiarla ningún día , los últimos dos días se puso verde imposible bañarse. La ubicación de la casa es para alpinistas unas cuestas de bajada imposibles de no tener vértigo . Lo único bueno las vistas impresionantes .

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Haus bietet 8 unterschiedliche Zimmer. Ein ehemaliges Familienhaus mit angenehmer Einrichtung. Die Küche mit Durchzug ist atmosphärisch. Der erste Stock ist auf die alte Basis aufgesetzt. Der Ausblick ist wunderbar auf ein Tal und in die Berglandschaft. Der Pool ist gepflegt. Einige Reparaturen sind am Haus auszuführen, das stört aber nicht. Bei Fragen einfach Angie kontaktieren, das klappt sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great relaxtion in the hills

Lovely remote location, great views and great for relaxation and Malaga only about 40 minutes away. I would recommend that you do not get a basic car as the hills in Colmenar and the track down to the Villa are very steep.

Colmenar countryside

Los Establos has a peaceful countryside setting where all you hear in the morning are the roosters, birds and the goat bells. Great location to get away from the tourist grind but located centrally enough to make day trips to Malaga, Ronda and Granada and down to the different beach side towns. Angela was excellent, letting us check in early and answering the phone at anytime to give us driving directions through the town. Driving the hilly steep country roads is a slight challenge but worth it and the first few times up and down the driveway although a little hairy soon becomes routine. We loved our stay and would definitely come again. The locals were friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy my partners efforts at Spanish. Definitely eat at Tarverna de Los Flores in Colmenar town, the food is fantastic. Thank you Angela for a fabulous stay.

Prachtig huisje in mooie rustige omgeving

Om heerlijk tot rust te komen is dit huisje perfect! Het ligt in een mooi heuvellandschap tussen de bomen en onzichtbaar vanaf de weg. Het dorp Colmenar ligt op ongeveer 6 km. Het zwembad is zowel vanuit de keuken als beide slaapkamers te zien. Eigenaresse Angela is zeer vriendelijk en gemakkelijk bereikbaar via de mail of app. Prachtige dorpjes in de omgeving en binnen 3 kwartier ben je in Malaga. De omgeving is zeer geschikt om te verkennen op de (race)fiets. We komen zeker nog graag een keer terug!

Perfect for a relaxed getaway.

Loved our stay at Los Establos. Quiet and relaxed area. The property was clean and tidy and was perfect for us. Car essential. We spent most of our time around the pool with our feet up reading. Batteries fully charged again.

We really had the best time here, and the views across the valley and mountains was a treat and a feast for the eyes! The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed and having the small pool outside was perfect. (and having the coolbox was brilliant) We loved the location but also not far from Columnar for needing essentials. There was plenty to see around the area as well as the beaches past Nerja but also the finca was a great place to relax and soak up the sun! I would definitely want to return again- many thanks Angela.

Excellent, homely, well furnished and equipped, very good wifi connection

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days end March - beginning April, when the weather in this part of Spain can be chilly. The log burner and store of firewood were used with gratitude, as was the ample supply of blankets! Nevertheless we were pleased to have one day warm enough to laze at the side of the pool. This apartment has everything needed for self catering and more besides. Well situated for local villages & tourist sites (Nerja, Competa, Antequera, Cordoba etc) but a car is needed. The track to this apartment can be negotiated with a regular vehicle.

A glorious view

We had a wonderful time in this little house. In our 8 day holiday my husband spotted 80 bird species and most of them were at or near Los Establos. eg 10 bee eaters on the local telephone wire. My children enjoyed the pool. I was very pleased to find a bath. Everything we needed was there and a bit more besides. Thank you.

Lovely property in a quiet, secluded spot

Lovely stay. A comfortable and well stocked villa with a lovely pool in peaceful surroundings which was accurately portrayed in the details. The villa was clean and tidy with Angela being flexible about us arriving and helpful afterward. Extras were provided for us with a travel cot and highchair which was much appreciated. We would recommend this property for anyone who likes to be a little out of the way and wanting a quiet holiday in the mountains, and doesn't mind driving to get to the wealth of places to see around the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stunning country retreat

This is a lovely country house with wonderful views. This was exactly what I wanted, a private Spanish retreat. The house is down a short, steepish track perfectly suitable for a normal car. The owner has another house very nearby, so you do not feel totally isolated. It is a short easy drive into the lovely town of Colmenar. The house had a well stocked kitchen, so if you choose not to leave the house, you can cook up your own fantastic meals. The pool is small, perfect for cooling dips. You are surrounded by the noises of the countryside, birds and the daily passing of the goat herd. You can easily forget that there is a world beyond your own little hill, but the wifi is very strong if you need to dip into the modern world. Wonderful.
