“Tava hotel is an affordable, minimalist hotel underneath the mountains. It was a perfect place to stay within walking distance of all the great things Manitou has to offer. The name Tava (Meaning Sun Mountain) comes from the Ute people who used the word for what we call Pikes Peak today. Located about 5 minutes from Garden of the Gods and surrounded by everything you need to refuel after adventuring in the mountains. I'll be staying here again next time!”

“I have no problem with the motel room itself, aside from the fact that the room did not include a functioning refrigerator. But that wasn’t going to be a problem as long as there was an ice machine that could keep my food cold. The ice machine in the lobby was also broken. So, every day for five days I had to drive to the local gas station and purchase ice. The staff at the front desk were kind and accommodating.
