Pool was not open, was told the heat motor was not operating. Then was told later by another employee that the hotel does not have insurance on the pool and the hot tub so it’s been closed for quite a while. No breakfast, as stated on their listing. No shampoo/conditioner. No iron. No hairdryer. Room was old but appeared clean…until you looked under the bed for moved the sitting chair from the corner. No fitted sheet on mattress, only had flat sheet where you laid on flat sheet or on thin mattress protector (was very stained up, appears to never have been washed). Lots of brown staining they expected us to sleep on. The quilt was old and had multiple cigarette burns on it. Some towels were white, but most had old stains on them, as if they needed thrown away. Some towels were not even whole, they were torn in half. Room was very mildew smelling. My kids could not stay in the room very long without allergy pills. Was told we could contact Expedia for a refund, and they would approve. This was denied by the hotel (myself and two witnesses present). The receipt had a much of “notice to guest” and “checkout/registration legality” language. When signing for the checkin, I was not told I would be signing basically a waiver of everything. Nothing was posted. We stayed in room 103, when requesting more info from the front desk there was an agent with a badge looking to see if the guy in room115 came back yet to raid his room and arrest him. Not exactly my idea of a safe hotel stay.
